The escape talismans on those two seemed intentional for lord purposes. The translation on Stallion’s rune is incorrect but his whole gimmick is speed, and Krin is a coward who is always running away.

The german translation is particularly bad. Wheb they translated the Chainmail they called it "Kettenpost" post being one possible direct translation but meaning mail in the sense of letters instead of a piece of clothing or armor which would be "Hemd" also the Ninjas in Rokaku speak french for some reason

aw, no mention of the untranslated Tenzan Pass on the NA version of Suikoden II? 1:26 I'd argue that Cyndar is more preferable considering Sindarin is already used in the world of Lord of the Rings as one of the primary language of the elves 3:02 I thought they were being clever considering that the village and the pass is a border village/pass so the there will always be two banners of the bordering countries on the village's border thus giving it its name 3:33 so it's kinda like Sten in Dragon Age: Origins, huh? yo did you just make a pun on the Blight family name section

And i think many characters are translation incorrectly.... mathiu is matthew, jowy is joey, and mazus is mathers...

Think the second one is why I still have issues using buffing/debuffing in most games.

SO..PSP version is cool already with the diagonal move, nice! I saw the banquet scene on my last playthrough, I went straight to Mathiu's house as you stated then talk to him afterward.

so all of these are also on the original Japanese version too? the defense bug sounds so bad and stupid, as if the guy that was assigned to do that was drunk on the job I think the unique escape talismans are not glitch because always having a way out sound like something Krin and Stallion would know and have, I think it's the de-flagging when it's put on the warehouse that's the glitch

I thought this would touch the mistranslation of Mathiu and Gorudo's name, but apparently not. FYI Mathiu is most likely supposed to be Matthew/Mattheus/Macias and Gorudo is extremely likely supposed to be Gordeau

I just couldn't wait for Suikoden team to develop Suikoden VI and see what animals or perhaps group of people they will use name repetition on. Great content, useful knowledge on languages. Keep it up!
