That's actually not a bad idea. Only thing is I was trying to make it so I could still use the lithium-ion cells.

The chassis is already very beefy and rigid, haven't had any issues at all from removing material from the battery compartment. Where I did have the chassis break, was at the shock towers, whenever they smacked against something hard they would stress and eventually break off.

No idea. I've only ever ran cheap random servos in this truck. The tires are crazy light so it takes nothing to steer this thing.

5Kg is the stock servo, I just got a 25Kg from Amazon for under $20.

Quite possible. I kept having escs fail when I first got the truck. Contact Arrma, they should replace it.

Yeah, it should work. Although the gt1030 is kinda old school now. Why not go for a low profile 1650?

You'll need a 1.5mm hex screw driver to loosen the grub screw holding on the pinion gear.

Yeah, the servos on these trucks don't seem that strong. Didn't take a crazy amount of abuse to strip mine compared to my other trucks. Definitely would recommend upgrading, even just a low end like a Futaba, or Hi Tec should be plenty. The Arrma Voltage trucks are absolute paper clips.

Oh yeah, how long ago was that? I kept having problems with the esc failing like every two packs, but after waiting like 2 months I got another esc and it finally worked fairly reliably. Think Arrma had a bad batch. If you email them at supportUSA@arrma-rc.com they will send you a replacement, and it shouldn't keep burning up.

Yeah, but it was cheap, so I can completely look past it. Also working on the truck in general is SUPER easy, so having to do a small and easy modification that will proabably take about 20-30 minutes is a pretty small price to pay imo.

I have a PC, which means we should be fine. Don't think that OS matters since the game is run through Steam, and the game mechanics are the same. I mean, this game can be cross-played between a PC and a PS4 so should be fine. The last few days of school were an influence, and also it was half price so the game only cost me $10. It's a Steam Summer sale, and I went ahead and got the Back to the Future expansion for the game as you can see. Also got Sid Meiers Civ V with all of the expansions for only $12.
