Homage to the Members of the Choral Cociety Germania from 1903
I found old photos from these men...and combined it with your music, wich matches perfect to this choir. I wanted to know if I can get your permission to use this wonderful music from you Alela?

Es ist wunderschön zu sehen wie sich der Herr Maschinist freut.
Impressive! Greetings from a fellow blacksmith in Denmark. Well done!
Following a link from Black Bear Forge. This is truly amazing craftsmanship and ingenuity!
He's got skills.

The band that makes those tongs work is actually a coil of metal, interesting. I wonder if there's a spring action that helps it grip or if the tube shape helps, or if it's just a convenient way to make a ring. Thinking about learning to do this myself I had been worried about how to make tongs, but this has shown me the way. I've never seen bellows like that either, nor stone used as a smithing hammer or anvil. Lots of very valuable material to learn from in this video.
How did you time the hammer blows with the music? That was beautiful.
This looks like fun :P By the way, if you need to dispose of any pc hard drives, there are some wicked powerful magnets in them that are well worth the trouble of digging them out.
Wie lautet die Motornummer?
geniales video
Wie heißt der Song im hintergrund
Yeas, a man in flip flops but he can forge really good. he swings the hammer like a pro

Ahh a favorite youtuber of mine
@@EmilReiko Hello :)
I love this video. I also really like that smithy and his incredible skill at the anvil. What I am most impressed with are his tongs. I noticed that his tongs has 2 flat heavy rings holding the tong halves together instead of a rivet and a bbs. It offers unique and very diverse application possibilities for the tongs as he obviously demonstrated. I thought it was really amazing that he was able to hammer and pound out a very nice looking adze blade in a short period of time. However, I would not have used the steel he chose. An old european style heavy duty truck leaf spring. It's made with 2 different pieces of steel welded together down the middle. The smithy in this video is amazing. All those tools at his disposal, all the different tongs he could have used. Instead he chose the most basic one and showed us how much more versatile and useful his style of tongs really are. I'm going to make me a pair one day, as close to the same as his as possible, with a double flat ring to see how well the tongs perform. It will be a very fun experiment.
it is not a double flat ring but a spiral , a spring with a holding function you can see exactly at 01:30 how it function . this is one of the most Hitec pair of tongs I've ever seen ...
Another video on this channel shows it in better light, by the name of The Hammer With Two Heads. The barrel shaped coil was forged from stock that to my eye looks 1/2 the thickness, and then overlapped so it's twice around plus a quarter turn. Genius.
You have to remember he's in Burkina Faso. Most people in countries like that can't afford high quality steel. It's cheaper for them to use scrap iron for tool making instead of fresh ingots like we do here in the West.
noch ein John Switzer - Black Bear Forge Follower - ein ganz grossartiges Video! Danke Herr Rimkus. ---- was machen denn die "Riesenhämmer" , gedeihen die Bäume?
Also sent by black bear forge. Excellent work!
I happened on the video by John, from Black Bear Forge and his link to your video. While primarily, it was out of interest in the tongs you use, your video was very engaging and entertaining.
sent from black bear forge ,Ilove your music and tongs
nice
Great craftsmanship and interesting axe. One suggestion; please get rid of that music, it is so tiring to listen to it. You can just record the sounds of your shop, it would be much more interesting !
No the music is the bomb, in this particular video it rally adds - digg the comments ppl love it
Guten Tag, Andeas, Félicitations sur votre technique la-bas en Afrique, avec les outils disponible chez vous. Merci pour ce production de vos expertises. Danke. A really gritty and down to earth video of local blacksmithing in Birkina Faso. I'm surprised he can keep time to the music while pounding away! En passent I doubt the foot wear at 4:00 is safety approved by OSHA, ni ici au Québec, par le CSST! ;-) Encore svp, montrez vos autres projets.
Now we see why John from Black Bear Forge shares this video with his viewers very interesting
Your power your job is best one but you’re Shoes is not safety.!!!!
Respect
Great ingenuity
The music, where can i get it - its mega chill
I'm with you. I usually HATE background music in these videos but this is captivating.
Quite a good apprentice you are raising! 😉👍
The two handled hammer reminds me of something I made in the '90s as a display item: A handle with a straight peen on one end and a cross peen on the other end (mild steel). Only meant as a display, but when someone offered $100 for it, it was gone in the blink of an eye!
Молодец. Хороший вкус и работы достойные!
Toll das du den kiendern das schmieden beibringst Andreas weiter so PS ich bins milan von tag der offenen tür
Uhhhh, o.k. 🎅🐇 ⛷🏌️♂️
Another Black Bear viewer. Great work indeed. Could learn a lot from spending time watching you in your workshop. Love the indigenous music (any chance you could post who that was?), at one stage I thought I was listening to Zappa with that wild violin in the background. Thank You.
Hi, well nothings new in the world, tools that could have been used a thousand years ago and still going strong, if it ain't broken don't fix it. Great skill man, thanks for your time. Kev
Black bear forge also brought me here. This is great inspiration. : )
