I prefer how the pumpkin looked before you dry brushed the vintage white on it but that’s because I like brighter colors. The glitter gave it a really nice sparkle and I do love the way it turned out. Keep giving us inspiration!

Cos'hai usato all'inizio white paint and primer?
Thank you for watching ❤️ ❤ ideally, it is recommended to use primer as a first layer. A mixture of paint and Primer can do this job as good as just a primer. I just used a mixture of paint and Primer because I bought it in my local builder store. You can use any white Primer for this reason. Let me know if you have any other questions ❤

Thank you for sharing. Beautiful work ❤. Question: as I am adding the clay in the mold, it cracks. Not after But as I lift it right away it cracks. Do you know why?
@monalisa2114 thank you for watching ❤️ it is very difficult to find a right clay to use. It took me a long time to find the right clay I like. Problem with clay, it can crack or shrink when it is drying out. It is a known problem. Usually, in description, it says how much clay that you want to buy will shrink. Sometimes, it says, "Clay can shrink more than 10% or less than 5%, or any other percentage. The more it shrinks, the more cracks you are going to get. And the less it shrinks, the less cracks will occur while drying. Last 4 years I use Light Weight Stone Clay. In my opinion, it is awesome clay with minimal shrinking, and I hardly got any cracks even when I work with elegant and tiny molds. Also, DAS air drying clay is also good, but it will crack or shrink in smaller or thinner parts of molds. Also, I can suggest Jovi air drying clay, but as with DAS it will crack in thinner parts of molds. I tried almost every clay on a market and came up with top 3 clay that I would work: Light Weight Stone Clay by Primer, DAS clay and Jovi Clay. But my absolute favorite is Light Weight Stone Clay by Primer. Like I said before, this clay has almost no shrinking/cracking while drying. I used to buy it from a local Hobby Lobby store, but they stopped carrying it. Now I buy it directly from a company. I don't promote anything, I just gave you my opinion. @monalisa2114 another thing that you can do is filling all gaps with the same clay or a modeling paste. Also, before removing clay from the mold, you can put it in a freezer for like 20 minutes. Let it freeze and while it is icy cold, remove it from a mold. I personally have never tested this method, but I have seen it multiple times. But again it can crack in thinner parts of ornament while drying.
Do you untie the ribbon immediately or let it dry tied?
@KellySanders-Amergrl thank you for watching ❤️ yes I wait until it is completely dry because the ribbon gets very wrinkly, and by adding paint, I can reshape it. But if i would like to secure reshaping, I need it dry completely.
