what is the point of having one motor connected to both wheels when you already have one driving the back wheel?
How does that ramp flip open
An incredible robot, oh and nice editing. I was just wondering how do you hold the cube tray back when your in starting configuration? and also dose the cube tray ever get stuck on the stand offs when it comes out of starting configuration, if so how have you resolved this problem?
I built a very similar robot after getting inspired by yours but I can't seem to figure out one thing. Whenever the platform that the cubes go on comes out to 90° it can't push the arms out and the tower falls. Any ideas how to fix that?
Make sure nothing is contacting the cubes besides the bottom of the tray when it comes out to 90 degrees, as well as that the tray cant physically go past 90 degrees (you can use a hard stop or something for this). The bottom cube should also ideally be contacting the ground when the tray comes out to support the rest of the stack. Also you might want to try slowing down the speed of the tray when it comes out.
Very impressive, lots of planning seems to go into this!

Is there anyway you can make a tutorial on the cube tray flip up?
So me and my team are struggling to be able to make the arms to be able to lift up and down, our arms won't move and we won't if you know what's wrong with it
Were you guys ever able to make it work?
Where did you get the narrow rollers? Were they cut?
How did you feed the high strength axle through the c channel?
You would use a high strength bearing to support the axle, and a hole has to be drilled.
I just want to say you all did a great job with this video, it’s given my team some ideas to toss around.

I’m doing something similar and we have a comp Sunday and we are having problems with flip out I was wondering how high the standoffs are and what size. Thanks if you can help
I'm assuming you're talking about the standoffs that hold the rollers in, in which case they're 6".

Yes. It is legal to make it so it can flip out of the area.
