Pleco are one of the most well known fish in the hobby, and it’s a popular choice of fish for cleaning for cleaning algae in aquariums and ponds. People ofthen buy pleco for cleaning algae in aquariums or ponds, because people know these fish for eating algae. But little do people know, that pleco are actually not the best algae cleaning fish. And what people also didn’t know is that pleco are one of the most contrversial fish, and they’re know for having a bad reputation not only among the hobbyists but also in nature as well. Some of this feels oversimplified. My pleco has been tiny for years
My Super Red killed one of my medium sized Clown Loaches recently so be careful with those, they have to be large.

@@rtmaquatics it didn't eat it. Just hit it very hard from the side...the Arowana is a Super Red 12" very aggressive fish and the clown was around 4-5 inches...
I have A super red arwana, i thing size 47cm.. every day it always tanning lamp.. min 12 hour. It exotis fish

They are banned in the US primarily because Asia couldn't keep up with the demand of supplying them to the US. It would take over the business. However I have 2, High back Golden and Super Red, and I live in Jersey. Ask me how?
That’s interesting, so the reason Asian Arowanas are banned in the US despite being an endangered species is because Asia can’t keep up with the demand in the US market. And how did you get the High Back Golden and the Super Red arowana in New Jersey?
@@rtmaquatics you are correct the main reason is because they are endangered and on CITIES appendix 1, however the 2nd reason is in truth Asia does not want to supply Arowana to the US. Because I live in the real Jersey. See if you can work it out lol 😆

im sorry but this tan is not suitable for any fish at all maybe some shrimp this is animal crulety guppies should be given no less then 5 gallons
also this tank has such a large filter and high flow for even shrimp not suitable at all

Maybe the platy that you had is a male platy cuz when male platy meets another male platy they could be aggressive.

You need more space. Two platys in a 1.5 gal is crazy cruel. They like to be in groups of 3 or more in at least a 10 gallon. A lone betta needs 5. Can they survive on less? Yes. Will they be happy and thriving? No.

Yes, they use biofloc system. But when it comes to tilapia farming farmers don't always use biofloc system, there are many fish farming system that can be used for tilapia farming. Every farmers have their own preference when it comes to fish farming system
