Did you make that stove Alex?
I did yes! Really love it
@@AlexsWorkshopUK Georgie, he's a keeper. That is a cool stove 😊
😂 your mother has no words for some of it lol 🎉
Look at you all loved up. You two are so cute together.😊
Oh yeah, Sportsbikeshop has the best choice of gear for girls. But if you're minted, MotoGirl has the best quality.
This was the best inflatable boat Valve repair job I’ve found. You covered the entire job clearly with complete instructions. You answered all the questions step by step! Thanks What was the round patch material used glue onto the boat? Did you buy it pre-made or did you make them?
You can buy them separately depending on what your sib is made from, either hypalon or pvc. So just choose how many valves you want then buy a circular patch for each valve
Does the exhaust have a catalyst?
Junk garage
Hi mate do you go out often I live 5 minutes from there just bought my first boat want to go with someone for my first trip
@@kieranorourke2269 just been out haah
@@AlexsWorkshopUK do you have social media or anything I could pm you on mate ?
@@AlexsWorkshopUK is there anyway I could message you privately for advice etc if possible??
@@kieranorourke2269 snap 1080 at outlook dot com
@@AlexsWorkshopUK I think I added you am unsure on Snapchat lol
yes, well done! if you are going to make a video, at least put things back right! also if you bought the bike used, you still have remainder of warrenty
Brilliant - thank you so much
Do you rinse it with water after polishing or just leave it as it is?
Just buff up with a microfibre and leave as is
Spectacular
Top speed?
Thank you! wonderfully done
Very nice you should add a cup holder and lil storage part for lures etc
“Hetty” could do with a water blower to dry the bits you can’t reach. The “Minsden Flyer” has got a nice one. Leaves the machine bone dry 👍
How long does it take to assemble the boat?
Too long. It handles so badly it’s not worth buying
@@AlexsWorkshopUK really? Can you recommend a boat around that size? I will only be using the boat for small lakes standing up pike fly fishing so it doesn't really matter about speed. It will also only have an electric outboard on it. I am assuming the aluminium floor would be best for what I need?
Ah in that case would be absolutely ideal. Aluminium floor makes it a very stable platform to fish from, boat itself is very rugged and well made. I think by the time the floor is put in, tubes pumped up, oars on etc it’s about 2 hours to build. Keep mine moored on dry land with wheels so don’t have to keep setting it up, it’s always ready to hit the water
@@AlexsWorkshopUK that is a long assemble time. I didn't think it would take that long. I read air decks are faster but no good for standing on. Thanks for your advice by the way.
Do you ever feel like it’s too loud and annoying yourself? It’s hard to tell on video
Could happily listen to it all day
@@AlexsWorkshopUK nice thank you! I’m trying to decided between the takegawa scrambler and the takegawa std
Is it a little deeper in person?
Looks great. How did you do the cross pipe ?
Can just remove the heat shield then feed a piece of cloth through then pull it from either side
@@AlexsWorkshopUK: I am referring to the pipe that comes from the other side. Between the engine and the radiator.
When small fish swallow the hook a small disgorger like freshwater anglers use is best for getting the hook out. Much easier and less damaging than pliers or forceps. Not telling you what to do, just mentioning it incase you didn't know about them.
That was fantastic! Love a bit of weather but not silly enough to go and watch it. Don't need to with a film like this 😊
Just keep trying to remind people what they’re missing!
@@AlexsWorkshopUK yeah, I'd definitely stay in one of those seafront chalets 🤣🤣
Great bit of film there al and well edited. 👍👍
Cheers bud..about time too eh?

Unlikely up here haha
Are you controlling the drone and the boat? If so,, my guy you’re the goat
Thank you..there’ll be a lot more this year

Good job you know what you're doing 😂 I was waiting for a splash, Fail Army here we come. 😁

@@AlexsWorkshopUK not waterproof then 😏🤣
Hi, what options have you found for panniers ? I need something for traveling with a pinion . Thanks
Hey, not something I’d do to Hetty I’m afraid. At a push it’s a backpack for the pillion
Fantastic, love North Devon, spent a few holidays in and around Croyde with the kids. Must go back again on the bike. Cheers Alex.
Yes! Love riding around Croyde, Woolacombe and Mortehoe..scenery is well worth the journey
Great to see Hetty again, and you of course, she sounds lovely popping and burbling. That view is tremendous and how Tig has grown. This year has got to be better than the last.😁
He's alive. I was going to send you a message the other day but I saw you have left Facebook. Good to see you and Hetty.
Still here..been busy yet very little worth videoing. Looks like we’re finally coming out of winter so more to come, good to hear from you bud
@AlexsWorkshopUK I'm visiting Triumph motorcycle in Taunton soon. All because of Hetty. I'm just looking though
@@EpicAdamMotovlogsthey were my exact words before I went to ‘have a look’
Funny how things come together haha. It’s still uploading so the quality will improve shortly! Hope you enjoyed the sun today
You won’t believe this but I was just YouTubing appledore and north Devon for the first time in ages and just crossed my mind that you haven’t posted in a while and then you immediately posted haha. Lovely to see the place looking as lovely as ever and your dog is gorgeous. I had a border collie when I lived in Appledore 😊
need to get a mic in a backpack!
The newer bikes have a oil filter so does this still need to come apart and cleaned still?
Oil filters are a consumable item..best to just replace it while you’re in there
Promo*SM 👀
Where did you get those bar end mirrors?
Just watched your video again! Wetted the appetite to get out on Scrambler 900 in between the rubbish weather! Hetty sounds Great! I hope you’ve still got her and your Dads given Old Gal a run out? Cheers, Graham
Yeah still got her! Just like you..waiting for a break in the weather for a good razz
Great video! Do you still have the Monkey? I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust for mine but don't want something completely raucous and antisocial. This, I must say seems to be one of the best sounding exhausts I've heard for the Monkey! Do you still have it the Monkey? Loving the sound of 'Hetty' on the other video. What a noise! :)
I don’t have the monkey anymore unfortunately..Hetty is so incredibly fun and great sounding I couldn’t justify keeping both. But would easily have that Takegawa exhaust on a monkey again it really does have a characterful tone
@@AlexsWorkshopUKwho is hetty?
@@JayyBird93 my Triumph 900
Excuse me, can you please share me the specifications of the battery, thanks
I like your design Alex. Do you have any concerns that the weight of the motor may be too much for it all to be sitting on the anti-ventilation plate? I wouldn't have thought that plate would have been designed to hold much weight.
Hi Chris. I did take this into account as wasn’t sure how much weight it would be able to take..so made the cutout as tight as possible so it’s very snug and a bit of a squeeze when fitting this to the engine ensuring as much weight is evenly distributed. I’ve been meaning to redesign it recently so there’s enough room for the prop to spin and be able to add muffs so the engine can be flushed without having to transfer it to a bigger stand..watch this space
Thanks@@AlexsWorkshopUK. I have this same engine. You have your engine supported in the dolly in 2 spots. At the anti-ventilation plate and further up just below the transom mounting brackets. I'm following your design and thought perhaps supporting the engine weight at this top point. Do you have any thoughts on whether this would be a bad idea?
@@chrismcg7856 not a bad idea at all, now it’s actually built I can see that having it mounted higher up helps in terms of stability if it’s a bit breezy outside though the downward weight of the engine helps prevent it falling over. These engine cases are very strong so would totally trust having it mounted higher up
Thanks. I'll add support up top and see how it goes. I'm looking forward to the end of carrying this engine from point to point and instead being able to roll this around and particularly straight from the back of the car to the back of the boat. Cheers
Clean that swingarm bolt too, knock it out as very prone to rust and seizing as barely any grease on from factory so clean and regrease while you have it all off the bike anyway, 2 minute job but worth it.
P.s Beezdeals sell a chrome og Honda heatshield instead of the black original for around 40 quid and really sets that exhaust off, i have the same pipe on mine.
Nice new boat all ready for catching fish in the summer. Maybe a trip or two further out to sea. You know I give u chopper cover when u need it. 👍👍
After watching this video countless times I finally pull the trigger and got this exhaust. I have to say this is the best sounding exhaust both on power and off power riding the revs. I've had the yoshi RS-3 and its simply just too loud for my taste even with the db reducer, or the spark arrester, or the cat back slip on pipe with the spark arrester. If you want a slighter louder exhaust with out an annoying resonating pop at full throttle, this is the one to get. I'm very thankful for your video. The best sounds in this video can not duplicate the real live sound of this awesome exhaust but it's close. This is the closest sound you get on youtube. Again, awesome video!
Thank you..was the closest I could get to recording the actual sound, probably better with headphones I’d imagine! But totally agree it’s the best exhaust to open its full character, anything bigger is just noise
Did you notice any increased vibration in the handlebars, I just got mine yesterday and I love it, but I don't remember it vibrating like that before. Maybe I'm just imagining 🤷
A new boat! Tig's very good, mine would just jump over the side and start swimming for Lundy. She is a bit "special".😂
He’s not been out for a while so probably will too 😁 but he has a life jacket
Does the oil come out from that angle. I know if it goes on the side it is supposed to be tiller down, but is this position also good on a 4 stroke?
This was my concern too as found mixed opinions online, but has performed beautifully all year and still using it
I think you've got something there as the motor can be moved leaving the clamp vacant brilliant!
Need to adapt it slightly so the engine can be flushed afterwards. But it’s been brilliant all year
Excellent - Thanks
