I have a s400, the single shot version of the s410 , also in .177 ,it's one of the least pellet fussy rifles i own, 😁👍

Must admit I tend to find more damaged pellets in a tin of RWS, compared to H+N or JSB, which may suggest inconsistent pellets throughout the tin, interesting stuff thanks for sharing 👍

Not too bad, but not the best, that said it might be worth getting a tin to try, gorra few . 177s to give a go in, you never know... Don't normally buy RWS pellets, although the mrs's R10 quite likes them.. And it's a fussy old thing ( both the rifle AND the Mrs 😂)

It pays to get good quality pellets Jeff. I could never get Rws pellets to shoot well in any of my pcps? In the springers a little better. Good video pal.

What about penetration

Got several boxes of slugs in . 177 & . 20 but none in. 22 to be honest, they will never replace the skirted pellet in sub12 , even if accuracy is equal, the energy is lower and generally cost more .. Its argued that they retain energy better then pellets over distance, and that may be so, but I don't think it would be enough having seen ( and chronographed) by myself.. So no.. It's pellets all the way for me

H & N grouping very good---probably the cheapest slugs --- shoot well in lots of different guns

them sovereigns work really well , I too use a daystate revere in .22 , mainly on rats , i also use the 15.9 grain sovereigns , Its almost cheating , magnificent combination , Great vid cheers , just subscribed

Have you any idea what barrel band is fitted, I've never seen one that looks that solidly made.

I recently bought two tins of these and they were £7.50 a tin. They were absolutely fantastic through my Ghost so went back for more. The dealer had run out of them and said he would be getting more in but they would be more expensive next time!

Just got a tin of QYS in .177 Great group from my Rapid 17 and Daystate Air Ranger. I also tried Hades which were all over the place at 30 mtrs. Does anyone else have any luck with them?

Thank you for that,realize each gun is different, but thats a killer starting point for my new S410 TDR FAC. Surely one of those four will be a winner in my rifle. Speaking of, its an old pre tamper TDR, BUT was new in the box , unfired . I have had nothing but trouble with it since taken from it's backpack. When it will fire it groups well, and it is, in my eye, beautiful! Can you, if possible, steer me towards someone who may be able to help me with it? Where i in England, spect any Pub i walked into might hold a gunsmith for it, lol, but here in America, Texas to be exact, NOT many of us AA owners around. I am reaching out to you, because after watching you shoot this video, even messn up the two bullets on opposite targets, lol, WAS FUNNY listening to you babble.......while trying to figure out what you did, LMAO. You handled it well BTW. I have to RESPECT your shooting ability. I am a very good shot, very good, yet unless that front rest is magic, I would have a hard hard time matching those groups with gun on my shoulder. I did not see a rear rest ??? If not, that is mighty fine shooting, and quick too , specially for an ole man, lol. I'm 69 so i can say that, lol. Anyway, fine shooting , nice rifle, BTW, what power scope is that, 24??? If you can offer help or know someone who can please hit me back. I have written to AA and they want to help but with the hour difference here, i have missed all their 3AM calls .

Nice rifle, considering getting a shroud for the mrs's R10, looks the mutts Nutts.. Accuracy is good, ya just can't beat a good old pellet test, watched it last night in bed... Sooooo relaxing, top job

Hello My friend, Thank you for your video. I've always liked the look of the BSA R10, I think it's an absolutely beautiful looking air rifle as yours absolutely is. Accuracy wise, yours speaks for itself. You couldn't improve on what you've just done. I have a BSA R10, and my friend has a BSA R12. I'd say in my circumstance, the BSA R12 seems to shoot overall better than my R10. Personally, I think that's down the redesigned mono block action of the R12 and the continual development of BSA air rifles. I'm thinking of installing a Huma regulator, which I think will make it match the R12. Your R10 looks fantastic, and I don't think you could improve anything on it. I've a funny feeling the Huma regulator could improve my R10. Do you agree? Thank you, Ian.

Yes it has got a fussy barrel but ya only gonna carry 1 tin of pellets with ya and that'll be the best tin for the gun. Cracking video tho and it helps the gun sooooooooo pretty

I thought I knew everything, my s500 ultimate love the air arms pellets, ( what a surprise ) they work got a few trophies 🏆, that’s why theses types of vids , saves you frustration , disappointment and cost , but in the unlikely event you find the ultimate pellets that just keeps drilling the same hole , don’t keep it to yourself 😂😂 save us a few wins

Nice!😁 Exactly what i expected with the JSB 8.44 and JSB heavy's. They do the same out of my S410. The AA is in my opinion still one of the best PCP's on the market 👍

Enjoyed the video, great groups at 40yds. Can't fault the S400/410. My S400 aint pelley fussy either so I shoot H+N FTT 4.52. What I would like to know is how each pellet behaves in the wind. There was nothing between those pellets but which is best in the wind? If I had access to an indoor range I'd try putting a few fans along the flight path and see which one resists the wind the most.

It’ll be interesting to see how the rifle Performs with lead free pellets. Either way great shooting from the sponge bag and great to see a rifle that isn’t pellet fussy. If you’re selling it let me know 👍😜

🤔 seems like the rifle is so good you can put anything through it and shoot a decent group. Begs the question 🤔 is there a need for twin regs, tuning wheels, electric triggers??
