Rain along the Kew Riverside Walk, 27th August 2020
A short video featuring a compilation of brief clips of parts of Kew Riverside Walk in southwest London on a rainy afternoon. I had to convert the iPhone clips to mp4 and then stitch them together in Windows Photos video editor before exporting. Features nice rain sounds and occasional water bird noises. I think the compression has affected the audio of some of the louder clips slightly, but you can't have everything...

Fi fi fo fum, or "by the pricking of my thumb " are similar spell-like incantations.
Clapton's old tone?? wow
blues is boring shit !
Is the show available anywhere?
Hi, there was a DVD of the whole performance in circulation at the time but this was very limited edition and I now can't get hold of the film-maker. I'll see if I can find out anything and comment back.
Beautiful
Merci monsieur Gautier pour cette magnifique chanson elle a refait ma journée 😍🤣
Absolutely incredible song. Wish these two did a whole album together. Only thing is the album was from 1996 not 1999, not that it makes much of a difference
Very nice. I will be sure to play this again when the Australian summer kicks in
it is good
Fantastic!
You remind me of my days in high school/college (but you've got better chops): I'd play E minor Pentatonic Blues over the main instrumental riff from Glory Box on a loop station to girls I'd invited to my room. I once had one of those magical musical moments (those moments when you just can't hit a bad note) and *didn't even realize that my new friend had completely stripped her clothes off except for her bra and panties,* and was patiently waiting on my bed for me to finish jamming. For the guitar players wondering, yes I did finish my performance (probably somewhere around the 48th or 64th bar) before beginning, well, my next performance... Thanks, Portishead! (Or Isaac Hayes, I suppose)
wow! brilliant stuff
Beautifully Done....
Reaaaallly good, had me smiling and making all sorts of faces hahaha.
Oh my God. I cried, man. Just cried...
I'm reading it right now. It's marvellous.
Beautiful!!
For you I was the flame Love is a losing game Five story fire as you came Love is losing game One I wished, I never played Oh, what a mess we made And now the final frame Love is a losing game Played out by the band Love is a losing hand More than I could stand Love is a losing hand Self-professed profound Till the chips were down Know you're a gambling man Love is a losing hand Though I battled blind Love is a fate resigned Memories mar my mind Love is a fate resigned Over futile odds And laughed at by the gods And now the final frame Love is a losing game
1996 "phantom blues"album
That was really good mate.
Agree with her - it was a crap joke that didn't make much sense.
The joke perfectly summed up her Government's advice on a potential incoming petrol supply issue. Telling people to panic causes the problem. It is Question Time, not professional stand-up, that considered it was a decent bit of satire, and surprising that it needed explaining to her.
Sounds like John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers "Beano" era Clapton.
This is my favorite song off the album. However, the whole album is fantastic!!
Me,too
You got your self a new subscriber from Uganda, East Africa. This is my favorite song on the love and hate album, and your play-along made super sweet.
Thank you!
Thanks for posting

I dig this man...do you use soundcloud?
Thanks, man! :)
Yep, ES-335.
Mostly blues (pentatonic) but I go to a couple of notes you don't normally get in straight blues - I'm not very technical so I'm not sure of the exact interval, and I've forgotten what key this track is in, but if it was say in E minor then I like playing C# in the scale and also F# over the top of the E (which is a minor 9). HTH :)
What scale are you using in this man??
Max Blow it's E
She should have just kept quiet and smiled, look up Sarah Tethers stand up routine it's equally painful.
Proof that she must seriously lack a sense of humor. What a dimwit.
Awkward... haha. Funny, watching "The thick of it" at the moment, oh my, if that show is anything to go by she's dead baha,
:) thank you!! :)
yes of course! thank you :)
! w o w ! can i use it for a cover? :)
thank you, that's very kind :)
I couldn't believe this when it happened. She must be one of the thickest, robot like politicians out there. And thats saying something. The audience members' joke summed up the petrol situation exceeding well.
Excellent guitar work from EC. It's noticeable that the biting tones of his guitar-work indicate that he's probably playing a Gibson on this track, normally reserved for any Freddy, BB or Albert King covers. Should play it more often.
ES335 I think ... Eric Clapton plays very often Gibson in studio sessions for friends, I think Eric loves Es335's as equal that Stratos, but $$$ for contract with Fender .. my humble opinion
