Wasn't a fan of the 4th film, made me appreciate the first two even more!!!

I know that Jerry has been in some hot water these days, but I still separate him from rewatching Bee Movie. It's not his movie, it's Simon and Steve's movie!!! By the way, Bee Movie is easily there as one of my top 5 fav Dreamworks movies.

He and David Lynch are the best directors in this world. I literally had to purchase Galaxy Quest and Fun with Dick and Jane ❤

Jerry bruckheimer should earn the Irving thalberg award for being the most visionary producer that pioneered the blockbuster action entertainment of the 80s and 90s. After all when it was presented by spielberg at the time he mentioned of a producer that invents a special form of entertainment that impresses us audiences with passion and valor.

This movie is simply gorgeous. I think it is one of those films that shifted my thinking about what movies can do and how they can impact me as a viewer. I don't think I've experienced such an atmospheric movie. I think on the horror side, it is more horror in the old Universal Horror movie sense than a current horror movie but with tremendous artistry and vision from Coppola thrown in

I'm pretty sure I've binged watched every existing Simon Wells interview/footage on the net (very dedicated fan here lol). Something I've noticed about the guy is that his energy always has stayed the same. To me, that's really impressive considering how many ups and downs he's experienced in his career. :)

I don't know if the directors will see this but if they do, I have a few questions. Question 1:Have you ever thought about a reboot for Antz? Question 2:Have you ever though about making a second Antz movie? Question 3:If you got the chance to make a reboot or the second Antz movie, would you want to make the second movie? Question 4:Do you know about the Woody Allen allegations? If so, would you recast him? (If the movie gets a reboot/sequel.)

Absolutely to a moral certainty, "Shawshank Redemption" be what it turned out to be without Morgan Freeman's captivating narrative voice. Period.

Funfact: Simon Wells directed the movie The Time Machine, a remake based on the novel of the same name by H.G Wells. H.G Wells is Simon's great grandfather.

In response to Simon not being aware of how Andrew Lloyd Webber felt about the 2019 CATS film, he thought "the whole thing was ridiculous." In fact, his negative reaction to it even directly inspired him to adopt a Havanese dog.

I really admire the positive way Simon looks back at his whole career despite some (relative) failures. Having had some hard and stressful times in my artistic career myself, I take him as an example of accepting his current situation, admitting his pas mistakes and being proud of his achievements.

I really admire Simon's positivity throughout his career! I've been a fan of him for 2 years now, he's really down to earth and I enjoy all these interviews of him! :)

Thanks for doing this with Mr. Wells. I loved "We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story". I will listen to this.
