Haha! I’m loving it so far! We’ve been taking it out of town and we don’t mind the charging either. The mileage was just under 30,000 miles. I just got the racks for the roof and I’m going to be setting it up for extra storage so that will help a bit too. It does have some pretty good storage though!

What’s the cost for that? I’d love to make the trip. I was born there!

Maybe. I feel like it helps on long trips. But I just recently stopped it at 82% because I didn’t want to wait 😂😂😂

@ my spouse has the YLR RWD, and now I want the 3LR AWD. I heard it’s super fast. 🚙 meep meep! Every time I drive the Y, it’s just a super fun experience. They say RWD isn’t so quick - but it’s a lie. You get pulled back when you hit the pedal!

@markanthony5719 yeah for sure! I’ve never driven a Y but I heard that it’s even a different experience than the 3.

@@8bajwa8 that’s about .16 per mile. I’m at about .09 per mile when charging at a supercharger and almost free at home.

But can your car see ghosts or fart? 😂 I think a Toyota Camry is a great car! I’m sure you can find a Camry that’s about 15 years old and pick it up for $10K. I also don’t doubt that the 4 cylinder model is inexpensive to drive. I bet insurance is way cheaper than that of a Tesla as well. For solar, I have a PPA with 130% offset and guaranteed production and I’m in California. My brother lives in Nevada. It’s best for me to charge during the day of course when my solar is producing to get the best use case. I also only bought my Tesla with $3K (sold my old van and cash from a side hustle) down and owe just over $26K on it. I definitely know that it costs me money to own it but it does in fact save me money on my daily driving. So, the money saved does offset my payment by about $100/mo. Either way though, I’m still paying money out of pocket. It’s just such a fun car and I like the way they look. Do you have a Camry?

@@PuntFamilyVlogs I drive a new Truck but have a Corolla to run errands. It gets almost 30MPG so very cheap to run. Solar panels in NC are expensive so a long return on investment. Gas here is under $3 a gallon now so those the charge away from home don’t really save money.

Oh wow! Yeah that makes sense. That’s a good choice on the Corolla! Can almost never go wrong with a Toyota. Gas is almost $5 a gallon and in some places almost $6 a gallon out here. I’m hoping to start seeing some savings on the solar in the next two years. We just got it and winter is coming so I’m sure I won’t see it this year. I need to get a full year in to really be able to tell.

@@PuntFamilyVlogs You have to go that route out there….what’s sad is they are punishing the poor with the force the go green by raising gas and electricity. They cannot get solar or an EV.

@@RunQC true man. They’re talking about imposing a “driving tax” out here though because with everyone moving to electric vehicles, they’re losing money from less people paying gas tax! 😂

@@PuntFamilyVlogs west of Flagstaff is a old amusement park called bedrock. It was built in the 70s and has all the old buildings and everything from Fred Flintstone’s town of bedrock.
