Ironically if you're an edgy anarchist looking to have a competent book on the topic, the US Government has published a similar book with actual recipes and techniques that won't result in your losing fingers in the most spectacular fashion. The US Army Improvised Munitions Handbook is literally free to download or could be purchased online. It's incredibly ironic that the government has produced a better "anarchist cookbook" than any anarchist could ever dream of.
