I've removed the masking fluid and now I'm going in with a light wash of lemon yellow and cerulean to pick out the moss highlights.

As part of my Kickstarter campaign to gather pre-orders for my fully illustrated edition of 'The Wind in the Willows', I have been creating 15 small watercolours for those lucky backers who snapped them up in the first few days of the Kickstarter launch. I also managed to make a time lapse video painting Ratty, start to finish.

Might I know what art style would you call this? I've always adored these type of warm, whimsical illustrations. They remind me of my childhood books. I wanted to do more research but I don't know the specific keywords.
I think you're nearly there with warm, whimsical illustration. Maybe add anthropomorphic animals to your search?
You are fantastic watercolorist and the speed of your ”running” the camera over the paintings really diden't do the justice to those great pieces. I would really like to see your workflow in futtage somewhere because I really wonder how you perform such extreme details on such a small sizes

Thanks! I have contemplated a treehouse poster in the past, maybe I should look into it properly.
