There is a lack of information here. In a way of trying to understand this amazing group. Take for example. First of all, they only steal from criminals, mafia members, mafia partners of various kinds. 2. They always always try to help their hometown. Their hometown is very, very poor. 3. Of course the most important. The story behind the group is their past why they are heroes strong people. I heartily recommend looking and understanding their history in the manga. A group of children to whom the world was cruel and they were not ready to give up but were ready to stand up and fight. PS I have nothing but admiration for such people. By the way, I'm probably the only one who thinks so.

Nice analysis. Even though I had already watched a few Chrollo analysis videos, you still opened my eyes to a fresh new perspective on his character.

What makes you believe that Chrollo believes in fate and determinism ? I never had this feeling. Wouldn't it be in stark contrast to his actions? He and the troupe are outcasts who inflict violence on others as a means of being alive. But if he truly were deterministic wouldn't he just accepted the fate that he has been given ? I find him fascinating because he does have agency and he is on his own path of finding himself. Maybe i'm getting the definition wrong but i never felt that Chrollo would be the type of character who would simply "accept".

I really feel like skull knight used the berserker armor and it killed his beloved by wearing it, but managed to kill 4/5 god hands. To avoid repeating the same mistake as skull knight and kill casca. Guts will fight the god hand without the berserker armor.

Another thing I love about Makima's character is the way she loves human and her powers. With Nayuta we can see how the control devil is born just as powerful (and as) a kid. Angel says while the more humanoid the devil, the more friendly to human they are. The control devil is basically a human, there was a moment were Makima loved humans and had relationships with them as equals. However by her nature, she gained control over things she saw lesser than her. It's very likely (heavily implied by Kishibe in the last chapter) that Makima was used by the japanese goverment as a asset to gain strength. In a way, they fed her making her more and more powerful. Yo the point when she as so above to the average human, that she started to see us as a dogs. But still desiring those equal relations she couldn't have anymore.

That side of Makima that desires simple human connection is really touching and my favorite aspect of her. Also my favorite message from Chainsaw Man is how one cannot have good things without the bad as shown in the movie date chapter and the final battle between Denji and Makima. Makima says that every 10 movies or so she sees one amazing movie that will stick with her for long time and this goes against her actions later in the manga when she wants to rid the world of all suffering. The movie Denji and Makima saw and cried to was the one that showed to people hugging eachother showing not only Denji's desire but also Makima's. I think that's amazing and I love Fujimoto's way of using movies to tell a message in his work.
