Suggestions and request to Shri R Subrahmanyam......in order to encourage the Service Providers who are providing Services to purely Senior Citizens Residential Projects and Care Homes in India is it possible to (a) waive the Service Tax on Services being rendered in Senior Citizens Residential Complexes by them. By doing so you will indirectly be helping Senior Citizens also opting to buy apartments and live independently in these complexes, and (b) try to persue the concerned authority to either include a seperate chapter in recently introduced Apartment Acts, for example in Rajasthan, where the RWAs ( registered Residents Welfare Associations) in exclusively 100 per cent Senior Citizens Residential Complexes in a way so that the Role of RWAs is limited and not exclusive as proposed. Alternatively, a separate Apartment Act for exclusively Senior Citizens Residential Complexes in India must be brought. Thanks
