As you were discussing continuing on with “The God Eater Saga” I got to thinking that your set is a TBB SE. Presumably RJH and TBB will continue with this production to the end, which means they probably have a whole bunch of things to coordinate - artwork, printing, shipping, etc - for some future release. Quite a job, one imagines, combined with writing them in the first place 🤔

I watched while having dinner, half an hour after it went live, and can confirm you had 500+ subscribers - 504 to be precise 🥳 Some great Q’s - apart from the plonker asking about cooked fruit 🤦‍♂️😂 - which allowed an in-depth answer rather than the superficial. Whoa, cool, some live decisions being made at the end there, awesome. I love hearing the thought process and getting to see it happen is even better 🥹

This was a really interesting video, thanks for answering our questions! So as you said, I wanna reach zero TBR next year, and for me, I think I also wanna do 5 books on the TBR. I really don't have a strong urge to buy new books luckily. So, the general idea is: getting lots of books for Christmas and my birthday in January, then read those down, then keep it around 5 for the rest of the year. We can all laugh at me when that plans falls apart quickly next year. :D Concerning the question whether you will ever reach the "happy spot" with the TBR, I found that for audiobooks I already have that because there is no backlist at all. I can pick up whatever I feel like in the moment. That is my happy place. :D Love the existential crisis at the end. :D So happy you got rid of the books that don't spark joy. And congrats again for 500 subs!

😯 How often do you rehearse scenes? 💥 Your “convergence of circumstances” seems to have packed your week with non-ideal events - lost footage, museum visits, misplaced microphone and the ‘wrong’ book being picked by the dastardly wheel of doom. 🫣 …removes “The Substance” from any To Be Watched lists… 🙉 Because I used to ride a motorbike I have a ton of earplugs, which I often used at loud gigs but nowadays mainly when the weather is wild and I cannot sleep. Sounds like I’d also use them in your extra loud cinema too.

Maybe you could spin the wheel 2x and need to do 2 activities? Or will that sabotage your reading time to much?

I also need to really go through my shelves and think hard about each book. There are definitely some I will realistically never get round to and I need to realise that it's OK.
