If this is the show I missed, it's around 2001 or 2002. Agression played too and I don't know why I didn't go. Henry passed in 2002. I remember him and Rob talking about it and I couldn't go for some reason. I did see RKL at the Catalyst another time, but it was with Fear when lee Ving stopped the set because people wouldn't stop spitting on him. He did that twice when I saw them with RKL and again at Cactus. Anyways, RKL are amazing.

In the last 5yrs I've been foiling, I've yet to see a foiler injure anyone but themselves. But I've seen lots of injuries caused by surfers burning other surfers. Most of those injuries were to the face and caused by the burnt surfers fists

What is the best way to approach this situation as it is happening currently?

Although I am sure foiling is super fun, my opinion is that is has no place at Cowell's. To think otherwise makes you kind of a selfish turd. No offense. It seems like common sense. You're out there getting towed around by Covewater in a boat, in your full battle gear - helmet, flotation vest, maybe even a paddle. Today, I saw Covewater in it's powered boat, foilers in tow, actually in the line up and inside the buoy. I find it truly frustrating. I hope that there will soon be some sort of legislation against it. I called the harbor patrol today and also emailed Covewater, requesting they stop. Shit. Not even Jeff Clark knows any better. I've thought about making fliers and shirts. But I don't want to spend any energy at all on such a ridiculous thing. It will end in someone being seriously hurt, or a foiler getting their ass beat (not by me), or maced, or caught by an underwater snare that someone threw out like a cowboy's lasso. It could happen.
