First go at following one of your tutorials, thank you! Mixed up the brushes to use the 'short fur' from the Wildlife set. I like the process and the brushes but need to practice with both, so not entirely happy with my end result, that's totally on me. My go to is always wildlife so am going to apply what I've learnt and see how I go.
Fantastic!! Glad you decided to give it a go. If you weren’t completely happy with the first attempt, give it another try. Sometimes painting the same subject a couple of times is great practice.
Love this. Thanks for the tip. I am using this going forwards.
Great! 👍 Glad you found it useful 🙌
Didn't make the live stream but caught up on replay. Love the look of these. Hope to experiment with them in the watercolour style.
Ah cool! I think they’ll work great in a watercolor style! 👍
Thanks for the ‘two-hand’ tip, I’m always dragging into the wrong folders too!
You bet! That really does take all the frustration out of organizing brushes!! 😄
Love love these brushes.
Thank you!! I really love them too! They're so much fun to use. ❤
Looking foreword to these next Tuesday! I have a question, I started buying some of your brush sets and didn’t realize you have a set that includes a bunch of them. So I’ve bought the master watercolor and acrylic and really want to get that 40$ full set but feel like I already got a few, is it possible to get a discount code for a repeat customer for something like that? I’ve bought so much from your site. Thanks for all your tutorials.
Hey thanks for the support, and purchasing my products. The Master Watercolor isn't included in the Ultimate set, I've got a video here on UA-cam explaining the difference. But that acrylic set you mentioned probably is. Contact me via the website, and I bet we can figure out a solution. 😊👍
@ awesome Nate! I’m actually on your website now, was looking to see if your new brush set was listed yet.
@@Mallymutts86it’s releasing on Tuesday. If you sign up for my newsletter you’ll be notified and will also receive a discount code 👍
It’s chilly here in Charlotte….🥶🥶🥶
It's chilly in Texas too... but probably not for long. 😂
figured out how to tag my fox version to your Instagram. Thanks so much, so much fun!
Awesome! I'll have to check it out 😊
I have completed this tutorial - had a lot of fun, learned a lot, including that you can use stamp brushes on a background and then manipulate them - never had occurred to me before! Is there a place to share my version of this fox tutorial? If I share on Insta, can it be tagged to your Insta account? I don't use that app very much, so I don't know if you can tag people like in FB.
Love it! That's exactly what I was looking for! I was struggling finding a style where I would be satisfied with my outcome and I think I hit the jackpot here. Thank You so much for this!
You're very welcome! Glad you found the video, and happy that it helped!! 🙌
What are the minimum requirements for an iPad to be able to work in Procreate with your wildlife workflow guide?
I think any iPad Pro would be fine. I do have an alternate version on hand with smaller file sizes in case anyone needs it, but so far it hasn't been necessary.
I always find it amazing that as soon as the eyes are done the subject comes to life! Another beautiful painting!
So true! The eyes are key. ☺
Another great tutorial Nathan! Thanks.
Thanks so much!! 🤗
Nathan, you are talented and I enjoy your videos. You have a great way to explain things as you go along. Have you ever experienced Rebelle software from escape motions? It’s watercolor engine is very close to traditional watercolour
Hey thanks for commenting! Glad you're enjoying the videos! ☺I have Rebelle 7, but really haven't taken the time to experiment with it. I'm very partial to the iPad, but I heard there might be a Rebelle version for iPad soon, so that may be my jumping on point.
Another wonderful video. Thanks Nathan.
Thank you for detailed explanation! It is really hard to figure out how to imitate watercolor digitally, your video helps a lot!
Hey I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for taking the time to let me know. ☺
Thank you! This was so helpful.
Awesome! Glad to hear it.
That is Gorgeous! ❤
Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to comment and let me know. 😊
Nathan, I purchased your intermediate watercolour course, but I cannot find the actual course! I am probably having a senior moment! I have left a couple of messages on your site but no reply can you please help?! Thank you!
Hey thanks for purchasing the course! 😊 You should have an access link in your confirmation email. I haven’t received any of your messages. Have you used the contact page on the site to try and get in touch? If you do that, I can help you more closely than from here. 👍
@@NathanBrownArt Duh! LOL found it, Thank you so much I look forward to starting. Yes, I did use contact you on the site. Not sure what happened but all good now
@@angiesart4u730 Awesome! Glad you found it. Let me know if you need help with anything else 😊👍
I love these Nathan. Keep them coming!!!!!
Thanks Jimbo!! I definitely will 🙌
I’m left handed as well.
Thanks for the comment! I'm so glad that was brought up, and that it's an easy adjustment to make within the file setup. I'm going to include how to do it again in the instructions for the product!
@@NathanBrownArt That’s great you’re adding the instructions. Some things aren’t always so obvious. Looking forward to the release.
GREAT
Wow! That us beautiful! Your understandinh of anatomy is beyond me! 😅
Thank you! 😊 🙏
I can really see your understanding of shapes and anatomy from the very beginning sketch
Can’t wait! Do you know when you are releasing this?
It’s going to be mid to late October ☺️👍
So excited for this!
Call it fate that I stumbled upon this masterpiece
Definitely fate... There's some Lazy Llama Drama going on in this painting for sure. 😂
@@NathanBrownArt love it man 💙 Hope you have a great week and an even better rest of life 🤙
Wow! Beautiful Nathan 😊
Looks amazing!! Wow!!!!
Loved your process. Great painting.
Thank you so much! 😊
woah, i was having this EXACT issue for a long time, and i tried this tip and it WORKED on the first piece, its so much more subtle and looks like traditional watercolor now thanks man, u rock 😁
That's great to hear! So glad it helped 🤗
I'm going to do this later. I didn't had internet. And now I'm testing. But love the subject ❤
Sounds great! Hope you enjoy it 😊
This video was so sweet and very helpful ty😊😊💛
Awesome! Thank you! ☺️ 🙌
Awesome!!!
Thanks! 🙌
Hi Nathan! Thanks for the video! It is a moth. Butterflies have thin bodies. Also, only moths have antennae like this.
Awesome! Thanks for the input. I felt like it looked more like a moth than a butterfly. 👍
Excited to be here ❤
Once again, I learn so much from you!!
That's great to hear! ☺
Second attempt, requesting to log in. I’m logged in to my Dropbox and still can not access
I just updated the link in the description. We had some trouble with Dropbox, but should be good now.
Can not open Dropbox file
Hi Nathan! Just caught the replay. (School is back in session and I sadly missed it live.) Flowers are a challenge for me, but I enjoyed following along. I’ll have to practice a bit more. Personally, I prefer drawing and painting faces. I would love to be able to develop the sketch of my dog, Maggie, some more. She’s the black cocker spaniel I sketched with your pencil set. Thanks for another fantastic tutorial!
Hey thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I find flowers to be challenging too I really love doing portraits as well, and will be doing some videos on them in the future. They may have to be multi-part as they do take longer.
damn dude ur hair looking on point 👌
Haha! Must've been a good day 😂
So helpful! Thank you!!
You're very welcome! ☺
Super useful. Thank yoy
You bet! 🙌
Have just followed along with a replay. Being able to stop and start it, maybe with a rewind, is so helpful. Just loved this tutorial and hope to see many more, particularly flowers and landscapes. Even still life. Watercolour, oils and charcoal/pencils. Certainly appreciated being able to learn how to paint like this in real time. Many thanks.
Nice art!
Lovely!
❤
I would so love you to make a teaching video on this or another moth/butterfly. I see some techniques this beginner doesn’t know ❤😢 Beautiful 😍
I've had several requests for a tutorial on this one. I'll see what I can do. Might be a good subject for the next live stream! 😊
Beautiful 😊 Would love longer video on any butterfly
That would make a great subject for a longer video. I'll see what I can do. 👍
Awesome stuff Nathan! Love your work!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know. I appreciate it! 😊
