Do you mean papers you already own? You can right click / long press on one of them and choose “File Info”/ “Get Info”and look at the dimensions. It’s most likely displayed in pixels. If the file is 300 dpi (typical resolution) divide the dimension by 300 to get inches. Does that make sense?

@@vickigregory709 When I researched, I noticed most of the digital scrapbook paper that sells well on Etsy is 12 x 12”. My thinking was that people often like to make digital scrapbook albums that are square sized and get them printed on sites like Shutterfly, etc. If anyone want to print the paper at home, the excess will be cropped off when they choose 8 1/2 x 11 as the paper size on their printer. I thought it may be better to crop the paper down then try to scale up to make it fit a square. (It’s also a little easier (for me) to create a repeat pattern in a square tile vs. a rectangle!)

@@kabocresencio638 yeah! I print on holographic sticker vinyl! It’s awesome and there are some really great options on Amazon for DIY stickers. I’m glad you found a printer you love! 😃

@@karapowers3209 pigment ink can smear easily and take forever to dry! 😫😵‍💫 My printer uses dye ink and I don’t get any smearing issues. You may want to experiment with different vinyl to see if one works better than the others for your printer. Maybe matte vinyl?

I’ve noticed (on my iphone) with the new ios that all I have to do is open the camera app and it knows when it’s a document and gives me the option to scan to files! I need to see if it works on iPad, but if so, that’s a really great free option, too!

The max number of layers in Procreate depends on your iPad model and your canvas size. I often run into this issue when I'm illustrating book spreads or book covers because of the large canvas size. I'll get only 31 layers to work with on a canvas sized at 16 x 10", 300 dpi, for book spreads. This is not enough for my style of art. If I'm working on a smaller canvas I'll get more layers (something like 40 or 50 layers max). I use an iPad Pro 12.9" 3rd gen. Procreate is a paid app only. Unfortunately, they don't offer a free version, but it's reasonably priced around $13 as a one time payment. I've never used Ibis paint! It sounds interesting and I'm glad you don't get layer issues! Layer issues and merging things is so nerve wracking. I have to say, after being restricted to 31 layers, 100 layers sounds so luxurious! haha!

Yeah! Good tip! That’s a good way to save some layers, too!!! 😃 Even with merging things, I still run out if it’s a really detailed (or large) book spread! 🥴 So I started doing this workaround!

No! You cannot delete the app! But you can remove it from your home screen and use the custom shortcut icon to make your device look cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing. The app itself will remain in your app library.

Sometimes the colors appear duller on white copy paper vs. better quality paper or sticker vinyl. If your colors still appear dull on the sticker paper you plan to use, you can adjust the saturation of your images. Sometimes I have to increase color saturation up to 70% before printing to get the colors to look vibrant like they do on my screen. Hope this helps and hope you love that printer as much as I do! :)

Sure! Duplicate the photo layer and swipe two fingers to the right on the layer in the side panel to alpha lock it. Select whatever color you want the offset to be from your color palette. Tap the layer in the side panel again and choose "fill layer" from the pop up menu. Drag this layer below your picture and scoot it diagonally left or right to create the offset. Hope this helps! :)

I had already cut the selection at that point. Sorry that wasn't clear! Here's how: After you make your selection, swipe three fingers down and choose "cut" or go up to the Actions menu (wrench), Add, then Cut. It will remove the selected area.
