I don’t even like leaving my pole unattended freshwater fishing for trout in rivers.. and a trout large enough to pull my pole in is rare. I’ll still put a rock on my pole or wedge it somehow just in case. Leaving your pole unattended with nothing to keep it from being took while fishing the ocean is just silly.. 😂. You never know what or how big of fish could grab it..

Don’t hate on yourself over the shield cuts not working. I have the same issue with them. Used to shoot them in a 3.5” and went down to a 2.25” chasing foc and was getting the spirally motion out of them. Especially in a 4 fletch configuration. The 3 fletch with more helical wasn’t as bad till I got out past 50.
