@095291010 take the spring out. right away.. the spring guide and the piston can be damaged because of sniped spring.. buy a brand new one and install it.. you will see the difference..

@095291010 you got that right.. but 52 rps is tottaly useless... the mag is empty in like two seconds.. fuck that :D this p90 is probably short stroked, with a stock M100 spring, and has like 200 fps :D heheh

Ok so I have a kwa sr10 with a lipo and I still want a higher ROF so should I get a systema motor or what please help. I'm also getting an echo-1 m249 and I want that thing to shoot as fast as it can even if it means up grading the internals please help!!

in this vid are riotsc...he makes the dsg and it takes alot to run a set up like this... the only gears i would trust in my builds are jg riots and maybe shs but the shafts are iffy...however systema makes a good bucking and i would 100% agree with you that kwa is a pile of crap...also i bet the guy that made this dsg setup is a great tech that spent days on forums and knows his stuff

@loulew .....are you kidding me? most techs and people on forums would bash your systema and modify bs parts...if you really want the best strongest gears i wouldnt hesitate to throw riotsc gears in any high speed set up and next to those your standard jg gears are the second strongest pretty much. on forums people throw stock jg gears (18:1 ratio) with m150,160,even 170 and they hold up exceptionally well...way better than over priced weak systema. beleive me. and for example the gears tobecont

@Doomcommin also do a compression test, you can find videos on how to do it on youtube, just type in airsoft compression test and you get one or 2 good vids. you may not be getting power behind your bb. you may be able to save yourself lots of money by just replacing your piston heads o-ring. make sure also that your hop is not on to much, if hop up is applied too much then the bb will simply role out the end of your gun. hope this helps at all.

@ronairsoft101 well that depends on how you modify the piston. With the modified Prometheus piston I had it last well over 18,000 rounds (not including misc dry fires in between). The new type supercore piston lasted about the same but is a little harder to modify which is why I went with the Prometheus. Well over 6 bags of KSC .2's with a little wear on the piston teeth. It's the tappet plate that needs to be replaced more often. I'd say every 4000 rounds. It gets chewed up pretty bad.

@pupdawg123 I will buy a new one, and check its assembled correctly, but there is hop applied , i dont know whats wrong with it

@Doomcommin before you spend money on a new hop bucking and nub, make sure that your hop up unit is installed correctly. If you take the inner barrel, hold it up to a light and look through it while turning the hop up adjustment you should see a buldge drop down a little as you turn the adjustment in front of the hop up chamber. If you don't see this then your hop unit is not assembled properly. The reason why your bb's drop is because there is NO hop applied (no backspin) to the BB.

@Doomcommin it could just be how it looks in the video. If your hop is adjusted properly then your range will be good. Certain hop buckings and nubs give different results. A few of the best I've used are the Firefly bucking with a standard nub or a systema bucking with the white H-hop nub from big out.

Hey, my gun shoots about the same FPS, , but they fall terribly, i have put on the Hop up, and adjusted it to as much as it needed but they dont go as far as yours, how come?

@bullmeatt when I did this build 2 years ago there was a lot of trial and error to see which parts worked and what didn't. Now the guys over on airsoftmechanics forum have the DSG cyclone set ups pretty much fine tuned and most of them are pushing higher ROF with close to 400+ FPS. Impressive.

@jawehawk If someone runs out in your line of fire then they really need to learn engagement and movement. ESPECIALLY if you're sending. If I let you use this gun in a skirmish you'd retract the statement "There is no reason for any gun to shoot this fast". Did you ever use a gun that shoots this fast before? So you really have no idea. Trust me. Too bad it isn't reliable enough. I mean it's reliable for how it performs but I wouldn't trust my life on it.

@archlunarwolf And what happens if someone runs in your field of view, nad you hit the person with 50+ BB's? There is no reason for any gun to shot this fast.

@jawehawk If you had box mag you can do suppressive fire on a small squad without having to lug around a large gun.

While this is fine for an experiment, I do not see the purpose of it on the skirmish field. The point of the game is not to hit your target with 50 + rounds. It's just overkill.

@bullmeatt I agree :) And yes, there is a M190 Spring in there, and the reason that it only has about that of an m100 is, that the Sector Gear is short stroking the piston action by half, 8 teeth instead of 16, and with each tooth, you loose Power, as the piston cant accelerate that far and long.

a noob can still get his ass kicked with this gun. In airsoft the gun is only half of the player. Amazing set up whoever made this. Im surprized its still accurate and got its range. Is there really an s190 spring in there? Is it because the dual cyclone gear only pulls the piston half way back

Make it less accurate so that it's just a cloud of doom flying at them.

@Phantom663 That's exactly what I have. You have the mechanics all wrong. It doubles your rate of fire because the sector gear has two pick-ups and two releases in one rotation... not because a single burst of air is pushing out 2 BBs consecutively.

@andromedarr if you run the Cheetah 2N (or any FET) you won't realize any "trigger lag" and I'm sure it will be just as fast as a PTW with regards to trigger response. That's one of the reasons why the PTW has such great trigger response... because it has a MOSFET.

@pupdawg123 Yeah, i will use: Prometheus Cylinderassembly, SC CNC Gears (standart), Cheetah n2 MOSFET by Extreme Fire, low res. wiring, MadBull M100 Spring, magnum Motor (with Break In, insulated), and several other parts, but no Cut Off Lever, and no ARL because of the MOSFET. There is trigger lag. Every Airsoftgun (except the ASCU and PTW) have it. Your gun has trigger lag, if you have to hold the trigger the whole firing cycle to make it shoot. And i dont like that.

@andromedarr There is really no such thing as "trigger lag", there is only lag in the set-up. Example: a stock TM EG1000 with a 9.6V trying to pull a heavy spring (m150+) and infinite torque gears. Your ROF would suffer as would your semi auto response. There is just too much resistance in the gear train to work efficiently. A simple solution is to upgrade the motor OR down the spring.

@andromedarr The magnum will be more than enough for a M100 rated spring. If you want a quicker "trigger response" I would highly recommend a MOSFET from extreme-fire. The trigger lag issue is a cause of improper gear ratio and or too high of a spring or a motor with not enough torque.
