Schecter C1 SLS Evil Twin demo at Guitar Center. Played through Fender Mustang LT25. Very smooth player. Like the Fishman Fluence Moderns, nice and tight. Ultra-thin C is nice for speed. Overall, I love this guitar.

do you need to retune it often ?
When I first got it I did some work on the tremolo and it stayed in tune pretty good for a couple of years. If I don’t keep it lubricated and play it a lot it does have some issues with tuning. To be expected for this price point I guess.

That looks like one of Kramer's reverse headstocks, so I'd start there. Not sure what it is exactly, but the fretboard is pretty cool. And that's a 27 fret btw.

I like the fat tone to get more treble what I’ll do is when I buy two of these I’ll have one with all poles where they were meant to be then the other will have poles extended on the bridge and poles buried on the neck so I don’t need to change pickups to have two guitars of distinctly different tones but other than that I don’t find poles beneficial since they kinda get in the way

I’d say they are both about the same. I would suggest you get a hard tail if you buy one of these as the cheaper tremolos don’t stay in tune very well. You might look at Harley Benton. They make some pretty good guitars for cheap.

Whats your opinion on the volume pot placement? Ive noticed on other kellys them closer to the bridge. I have big hands and think id prefer it like this one but no access to test. Or possibly worse depending on where the hand rests?
I think I like it closer to the pickup than the bridge. The more expensive models seem to have it closer to the bridge. Although I do tend to hit the volume pot occasionally where it is.
