Auntie Mame - "I stepped on the ping pong ball"
I still quote this classic line more than a decade later… “I will stop your HEART” and crack up laughing after 😂😂😂
The excitement around the first 4 books was truly a reason to celebrate. I have to tell you, the movies ruined the books eventually
Ok so this is where the joke from Trading Places came from
I quote this scene all the time lmao. Also same episode right before this when Deacon leaves the fake message on the answering machine. So funny 😂😂
Julie Walters isn't known?!
Imagine having that family as your own!!!!
The VERY semi finals.....
Rosie o donnald is the portrait of the fat lady
She is the Fat lady!
So this is where the "and she stepped on the ball" from Trading Places comes from.
She’s truly a wonderful person, supporting the children who can’t help themselves through Lumos and addressing real world issues. Living legend.
I envy those kids who were old enough to read the books as they are getting published.
Me! I was between 10 and 16 years old reading from book 1 to 7. Good times.
Not me. I’m glad i was born in the early 2000s. Got the best of both worlds with early technology yet still being able to be a kid without smartphones glued to my face and being able to be a kid back when the world wasn’t so overly sensitive. When i was born none of the social media apps that exist today existed back then.
Charles Rhoades Sr has a similar line in the TV series Billions
great actress' but Bunny steals it in Trading Places, sans the ping-pong
Season 3 episode 19 is "packaged deal"
Trading Places?
This is where Trading Places got the line from
Egg nog?
wtf??
I looked it up and Rosie O’Donnell did indeed provided the signature of Molly Weasley in the book. What a fun fact to know, I had no idea.
She was FINE I would drink out of her shoes fine as that blonde was then. Whew!
We really laughing at a woman saying she will murder her husband 😂😂😂😂 it’s hilarious
LOVE TYNE DALY NO MATTER WHAT THE ROLE BUT ALWAYS CLOSEST TO MY HEART CAGNEY AND LACEY💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Thanks for the vid. But it's season 5 episode 19 :-)
Joanna Barnes reminds me of Dina Merrill... not a bad thing.
Trading places did a homage to this movie , I get it now “And I stepped on the ball”!!!
So did Kimmy Schmidt.
Awe I wanted to see Doug and Rosie face off again!!!
Another tv show fail..deacon hung up right away no dog barked but when Carrie checked voicemail there's a dog barking..😁😁...fail!..
Every JK interview from late 90's and early 00's gives me such a goosebump!Thank God I have a great deal of fondle memories from that time, when the books were being released and the movies were coming out. Me and my siblings love Harry Potter to the core, our bedroom were COVERED with huge HP's posters and they were so beautiful. We couldn't afford the books but every afternoon we went straight to the nearest library to read the books and then when we got back home we could only talk about it... Geez! I'm literally crying while typing this lmao what a great ride it was.
Oh that's so cute. Thanks for sharing
Really Amazing 😊😊
I'm Indian dear madam God is given gift congratulations
the way she says “i will stop YOUR HEART” is kinda attractive, idk why 😭😭😭
Eye wood lik to see Carey be her self with a leather dog coller on around her neack with a dog chain hooked up to her dog coller with Jennifer pulling Carey by a dog chain with Carey as Jennifer's pet dogy
Tyne daily is THE "NATURAL WOMAN" always loved her for being REAL! she is such a gem! such a TRUE BEAUTY!!!
Whoa! I didn’t know that JK Rowling was on the Rosie O’Donnell show before the first HP movie came out! My sister Mollie was and still is obsessed with the books and movies! She even got to meet Neville Longbottom at a Comic Con recently! Oh yeah and I remember watching Daniel, Rupert, and Emma’s interviews with Rosie on tv!
Wow that's cool, am happy for your sister
Do ittt
Trading Places brought me here 🥲🥲

Carrie. Holy Hell. She is edgy.
Cagney and Lacey was the best cop show ever. The chemistry between Tyne and Sharon was unsurpassed. I wish they would put it out on bluray.
I miss that show since I cancelled cable.
For those who Love Ron Weasley-and his brothers and sister, there is something to know about them: They are related to Endora, Clara and Samantha, seen on Bewitched!
What do you mean ?
@@sabiha.sayeed Ever seen the 1960's T.V series "Bewitched"?
Shouldve thrown in a question about trans ppl or some shit in there lmao
🤦🤦🤦
why did she say Julie Walters was unknown? wtf
She said that she doesn't know who is playing Mrs Weasley yet. Rosie was talking over her, and I think there was just a bit of a miscommunication there.
She didn't say that
Well maybe at that time, in America she wasn’t as known compared to England. At that time, Americans didn’t really know too many English actors unless they were icons like Richard Burton, Vanessa Redgrave, Peter Sellers, Hayley Mills, and maybe a few others. Arguably though, maybe the Harry Potter films helped bridge the gap between Hollywood and British entertainment and sort of put more people on the map?
From Auntie Mame to Trading Places to High School Musical
And Billions
Me and Megan fox
🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What does she mean when she say the actress playing Mrs Weasley was not a known actress!!?? and i was always impression that Daniel had never acted in his life and his parents had to be persuaded by JK Rowling to be in the film? maybe I dreamt it ..lol
He was in a movie called David Copperfield in 1999, which is the movie one of the producers (or maybe the director) was watching and saw Daniel in it and thought: THERE'S HARRY. I think Maggie Smith was also in that movie. Dan's parents just didn't want him in THIS movie because it was meant to be 7 films done in America and it would really disrupt his life.
@@Heidi-ih9ej Ohhhh really. I could have sworn I read somewhere that he had never acted before..maybe I dreamt it..lol! Thanks for the info.
She didn't say that, she said that she didn't knew yet who it was so it could have been someone unknown
@user-cz1um1wp2v It was the SCREENWRITER, dumbass. Not the director, not the producers, idiot.
What a nice scene this was. Joanna Barnes pulls off a good interpretation of the character, Gloria Upson, in Auntie Mame, that was funny. She did justice to the role, for sure. Thank you for uploading.
I believe it, too. Carrie Heffernan just strikes me as being capable of doing that...
RIP!! Love her <3
RIP “Gloria”. You are indelible.
My eyes are glued to Coral Browne throughout this clip. Her reactions and facial expressions are hilarious. And the grimly sardonic inflection she gives to the line 'YOUR story' is priceless. A wonderful actress.
