My Sandbox....remastering bootleg videos with better audio and upgraded video with focus on the Michael Houser era of Widespread Panic. Looking for suggestions, but only if it is worthy of an upgrade. Again, focus is on Michael Houser and Widespread Panic, but will upgrade audio any video with a better audio source, if one exists.

Widespread Panic plays at the Liberty Hall in Lawrence, KS on 11/13/1997. I digitized this from a VHS tape handed down to me and tried to bring it back to life as best as I could. Each set was on its own VHS tape, and Set 2 is much better video quality than Set 1. I used two AUD sources to make a matrix for the audio.

This was my FIRST and only Mikey show. I was in 10th grade. I had been listening to them religiously for a year and was so pumped!! No idea why my parents let me ride from Decatur to Birmingham with my best friend's older brother, on a Sunday night.... but MAN am I thankful they did!!

Got quite a few standing Mikey videos up on the channel. Got Mikey sitting before he decided to do it permanently. 6/29/96 tour closer he sat but stood again for Fall tour. Sat down Spring tour '97 and stayed.

I'm not sure to be honest. I have a lot of shows with no lineage. PanicStream just has "taped by Doug Oade". I have been meaning to go back and add lineage to shows on the channel, but like I said, I'm unsure on a lot of it. Videos I have nothing but an educated guess on some. Mostly have no idea. All that being said, Jah bless the tapers!

Damn i love sit n ski. My first show wasnt until Dallas 6/14/96 at Bronco Bowl and Mikey was already sittin down.
It's possible, but he stood up again after that. He sat the Summer tour closer on 6/29/96, which I have video of. He stood up again for maybe Fall tour, but definitely for NYE '96. He officially sat down and never stood up again at the beginning of '97 Spring tour.

Probably not next, no. Eventually, yes.

Somebody tagged him in one of my recent Facebook posts promoting the stream.
Lord, I don't want to do the comparison thing and bum the new kids out. God knows I love seeing Panic to this day, but DAMN Zdies this bring me back. If you had the good fortune to see Panic in these days, you know what I'm thinking.
They need to know, and Jah bless the tapers for preserving this stuff so the "new kids" can experience the band when it was at its peak.
We hit at least 10 of these shows. What an incredible tour. We snuck upstairs after the last show in CB and drank beers and smoked with JB for hours...
