For people who don't build stuff from scratch have NO idea how much effort and time it take to make things like this. I have both anchors but I'm gonna install them towards the last stages. I'm terrified when I'm thinking about the funnels. I still have no clue how I'm gonna proceed. But like all the time, i will figure it out when i get there. No rush!

@CyberJohn_TitanicModelBuilder But did you make your own templates to better guide you or did you do them all at once?

@eli_ublink I made the plans as i go along with the build. For example, i make the plans for the electric fans 1 by 1 not all at the same time, print them, make 1 model for test fitting and if it's alright i keep going. Than i proceed with the natural draft cowl vents and so on and so on.

@eli_ublink Well, i have 20 years of experience under my belt when it comes to Titanic. I've had my first model biuld in 2005 and kept improving ever since with every model made.

First, get your wood texture, insert it into a word document and print it on paper and than use double side tape to glue it to the cardboard.

@@TimetoTimeCreation4571 I'm estimating around 2 or so more years if everything will be ok. I can't control how much i work on it. For example, i haven't done anything to it in the past 3 weeks.

@@beanman_1912 To make my own plans i'm using Robert Read drawings as references. Also THG Plans and some 3D models for visual references.

I use 3 types of cardboard: 1. Carboard from pizza boxes. (1,6 mm thickness) 2. Duplex cardboard (0,6 mm and 0,3 mm thickness)

How long have you been working on this to one to two years or more and are you going to put it in water

@huseinokugic6339 I never thought about it as i was never interested in selling my models. I build them just for me to display it in my house. But i would ask a stupid amount to see people's reaction.🤣. You have to remember the most important thing that most people forget. This is not a kit, I'm building every single part from scratch. So from 2018 up to now, I've spend thousands upon thousands of hours and a very huge amount of money.

The wood decking? It's a small deck wood texture side by side many times printed on paper and glued on the cardboard.

@@CyberJohn_TitanicModelBuilder thanks. Is it self-adhesive paper or some dedicated for such things? And do You do it in some advanced program that you gain such quality and clarity of graphics?

@@Wojcimierz_Biały The paper is normal A4 paper. I use double sided tape. I use photoshop to design all the decals.

@Mr.401_Official I've never weight it to see but i can tell you that is very very heavy. You made me curious and I'm gonna weight it later and tell you.

@Mr.401_Official With the ship horizontally on the scale around 8.5 kg. I don't know if vertically makes any difference but I'm not gonna risk doing that. I tried putting it alone on the scale but i couldn't, i had to call my dad to lift it 🤣
