Do these guys have a DCI background or drum line training? If so i'm not impressed, they are elite/god level HOWEVER, if they are only two drummers jamming together, OMG they need to start a school to train drum line for DCI!! Bravo!!!

His ability to imply these metric modulations, expand on ideas in the new implied tempo, and then come back to the original theme / groove is absolutely absurd.
He’s on an elite level, and one of the scariest musicians to ever exist (in a good way). The way he absolutely bends the rhythm/tempo of music while still maintaining complete musical coherence is on another level, and he continues to improve with every single new clip I see. His trio work (especially with Max and Kwinton) is incredible, with a mix of unbridled energy and masterful improvisational chemistry that reminds me of other legendary fusion trios (such as Holdsworth with Carpenter and Novak, as well as Corea with Vinnie and Pattitucci). Mike is a legend, and still has decades of career ahead of him. Can’t wait to see how much further he expands the boundaries of drums and music as a whole.
