Will there ever be an automatic potato harvester with no people on back,it’s noisy,dusty,breathing in dust ,not a great job.! But nice harvester though!

These are amazing machines, they harvested the pea crops from around where I live in Denmark.....superb.

How many tons per hour of wheat can you harvest with cx5.80?
I cannot answer that i just film them i dont operate them.

I remember picking peas by hand in the early 70s, got 20p for a 20lb net of pods. We were slightly slower than these machines!

What is the cost of a pea viner, amazing pieces of machinery.
Dont really know but would say 200k plus each I would imagine
an article in farmers weekly back in 2014 put the list price for these particular machines at £395,000, obviously there a few years inflation on top of that by now. You can pick up a used 1997 model for £40k on Agriaffaires right now though. Buy it for a daily driver..it wont be fast, quiet, fuel efficient or easy to park, but it will sure as hell make everyone look at you as you drive down the high street hahaha

I passed one of these machines in north yorks not long ago, I was riding my motor cycle the opposite way, rightly or wrongly, I thought it might be Stockdales machine, but didnt see their name on it.
yes will have been Stockdale's (they don't have their name on the machines) it will have been escorted by a red pickup with amber lights & wide load warnings decals
@@silverfoxyorkshire5822 I worked for the opposition for 20+ years, now retired, but still look at potato crops & what machinery they are using.
Is that field covered in small rocks? Did the harvester get most of them out, or did the delivery at the wash plant complain? Impressive nonetheless.
