The original text of the Clementine Homilies to my understanding was discovered by a monk in a library in the 3rd Century. The original text was written in Syriac which is a dialect of Hebrew, it was translated into Latin and then it was translated into English. As a result the phrasing is difficult to understand. You hinted at Paul in the video. As I understand it Paul was a fraud but its only obvious to those who value truth. Even though Christ straight up said over and over that Paul was a false apostle, rev 2:2 for example, still people can't see or hear it. Judaism is as arrogant as Paulianity except with its own falseness like animal sacrifice to wash away sins. I believe you're right that the narrow path is somewhere in the middle.

"And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God." - Yeshua Hamashiach (Luke 13:3) Repentance means not doing it anymore, not just saying you're sorry; the Paulinist churches are leading people away from salvation just like the Pharisees Yeshua called out as hypocrites and vipers.
