I like large and small adventures, it really doesn't matter what they are, but most of them if I am honest are motorcycle adventures. My aim with this channel is just to document most of my adventures, I just need someplace that I can publish my videos. I hope you like them or find them useful perhaps, or even entertaining.

Hot and Long | Royal Enfield Scram 411
September 28 2024, I took a long and hot ride around Denver and into the mountains through Morrison.
It was way too hot and I almost cooked the engine oil in traffic, took Spud on I-70 (not ideal for the Enfield 411 engine) and ended up cutting the ride short.

Golden Gate State Park and the Peak to Peak Highway in Colorado. Date was 17th August 2024. The video was supposed to be a Vlog, but the audio failed to record properly, so to save the video I did a voice over recording and went with that. A quick video from this Saturdays ride while I try to figure out how to resolve my audio problems. I have a Cardo Pack Talk and I use the Cardo app to record the audio but I get a lot of audio drop out in the finished recording. Still playing with the settings to see if I can improve this. #bikelife #biker #adventure

Cat's first Run in the Twisties

Cat had her first adventure on the trike in the twisty roads of Boulder County and the Front Range. All in all, an excellent day out, but tiring if you are not used to it. yep im a shortie in the uk having two bikes one bike i had lowered so could not use center stand and due too luggage like top box and panniers i have too use footpegs and sidestand has been fine 3 years use the other bike is a triumph 400 x and use the same method no problems so far
@@alienbiker5036 I am building a trust in the Triumph although unless I am carrying a large bag I can get on and off ok without needing the pegs. The Scram though, I am still working on that one. Most bikes I have no problems with issues with using the pegs though, it's just the Royal Enfield.
Center stand.
@@DaveGeezer I know, but it doesn't have one. I also think my garage floor has something to do with it as I was playing around with this again over the weekend, and I noticed when I put weight on the peg, the front tire kicks out at least an inch. Perhaps on a gripper surface, it would feel more stable. I need to test more.
@@Tony.Pickett if you have trouble mastering the side stand peg up, invest in an aftermarket center stand. Suspension is a key in that on the RE the travel sags more creating instability. On dirt or loose gravel ground this can result in failure. Always when mounting using the peg up method, apply the front break to add stability. This a key manoeuvre. Hold the front break when mounting. Try never to mount from the right side. Never. Too unstable. It causes the side stand to lose grip with ground. Hope this helps.
Hi, beautiful bike. Just wondering how you’re getting on with your scrambler. Is heat from the pipes an issue? Also, I’ve heard that this bike pulls a bit to one side due to the location of the pipes, has that been your experience as well? Thanks
@@rkr6237 Yes the pipes can get pretty warm. I rode this past Saturday in temperatures of about 100F and those pipes were borderline uncomfortable. The good news is the weather is going to start getting cooler soon, and I might start to appreciate the warmth! As for the lean, it's funny you should mention that as I don't feel a pull to one side, but when cornering the bike leans a lot cleaner to the right than to the left. It's not a lot but it is noticable. Next time I take the scrambler out, I will pay more attention to that.

Welcome to the club!! You're right about the dirt road use. Eats them up! Fantastic sounding beast, beautiful seating position, bloody lovely burble to it, and the crackle and pop are so addictive! Have similar boots but haven't had trouble using them. Stay safe!

Did you consider the speed twin 900 as looking at both versions of the 900
I really didn't as I am not a fan of the look of the speed twin, whereas I am a fan of the look of the Scrambler. Also, there are a lot of dirt roads where I live, so some capability on dirt is a bonus.

Outstanding! 🎉 Us Picketts have to stick together. Get the Scram. Like I said in the video, it's not fast, or even that peppy but I find it an absolute joy to ride.
