Thanks! The rod is a Daiwa Tatula XT and the reels are Abu Garcia Zata and Revo 3 SX.

Most were on a weightless white color zoom super fluke Jr. I also used a green pumpkin color fluke. I nose hooked the bait with a 1/0 wide gap finesse hook by Gamakatsu. I casted out and let it slowly sink, popping it a few times. Next I used a weightless 5” stick bait worm in color green pumpkin, wacky rigged. The other bait I used was a weightless 6” texas rigged robo worm in purple and pink.

Most of the time I stand when fishing. Its pretty stable when its not too windy outside.

I find it easier to steer the boat since I'm sitting towards the front.

Yeah, this week here in Arizona! Temperatures are still in the hundreds during the day, so I have the best luck just before sunset. We don't have the biggest fish here, but it can still be a good time.

@@strikeforcebassin Well congrats on that 2lb 6oz bass! I would really like to catch a bass like that! I'm more of a pike fisher so that is why I haven't got a largemouth that big yet.

Its a hard lake to fish, especially during the summer. Fishing early mornings seems to be the best time at silverbell. With all the weeds right now, using weightless plastics seems to work best.

When you dropshot to you typically nose hook or I've seen people t rig it. Ive never had any luck with a drop shot. Never caught a fish with it and it's something I wanted to try more

@@trinhity9630 Yeah, I almost always nose hook the bait. I use a 1/0 Gamakatsu wide gap finesse hook and bury the hook point in the head of the bait so its partially weedless. Using a straight shank hook and T-rigging would work too, especially right now with all the weeds.

Its never a bad time to go fishing! When the monsoon season starts and the water level rises, the bite will be awesome.

@strikeforcebassin used to be really good they had some water level issues back when they had some fires but with all the lakes coming up from the snow this winter hopefully they'll get better

I rigged it weightless, nose hooked, with a 1/0 Gamakatsu wide gap finesse hook. I let the bait slowly sink to the bottom, then popped the slack in the line to make the bait dart just above the submerged rocks.

I know right! Had to re-spool after that one.

Yeah, the lake still high levels of mercury and its not recommended to eat the fish. Although I still see people taking fish home. There has been talk turning Pena Blanca into a trophy Bass fishing lake, but doubt that would ever happen due to funding.
