When you look at Luigi's model here, it looks like they went for an approach that looks like the original Spaceworld trailers. Also once had a dream where the mansion from the original game was bigger and Luigi was forced in there.

This is a pretty interesting rom hack, the sudden tone shift doesn't surprise me but it does immediately throw you into the action with the first room already implying E Gadd died. The different designs for the custom made ghosts are pretty well made, I like how creepier they tried to make it. Good video.

I like that the ghosts look more creepy. Luigi’s mansion 1 had a perfect balance between spooky and creepy but I wished they went more into the scary for Luigi’s mansion 2

In the first portrait ghost room, you made two blunders, one of which is understandable. First, there's a Speedy Spirit in the chair with the cheese under it (yes, two secret treasure ghosts in one room, it's really something), I can forgive you for missing that; but more importantly, if you vacuum up the books that fly at you, they don't respawn, leaving you free to do as you will in the room, and that was kinda painful since one of them cost you the perfect score on the portrait ghost. At least, that's how it works in the vanilla game, though I don't see why it would be changed here.

I had no idea Luigi's Mansion fangames/rom hacks were a thing until now. Thank you algorithm for putting this on my radar. I will be sticking around and browsing. :)

If the dialogue about Luigi wanting a dog isn't custom then it's really sweet considering he gets a dog in the sequels
