It's missing because it is a 20th century invention of a russian choreograph called Pyotr Gusev and for that does not belong to Petipa's original Esmeralda. The music is a mixture by several other componists than Pugni and has nothing to do with the story of Esmeralda. Can somebody explane: where in the Esmeralda ballet is this PDD exactely and who are the persons dancing (Role)? Why this is not include in complete ballet from Bolshoi new revival.?
Wonderful ballerina though she is, even Krysanova cannot tap that tambourine in time - great fouettes though! Gudanov as always is sheer polished perfection!

This pas de duex is a later supplement using music by pugni and drigo I believe vaganova choreographed it
