    The Honda generator probably from sitting too long, which probably clogged in the needle yet it’s a very simple fix. I’ve had that same generator for maybe 12 years. It ran in my business almost 4 to 5 hours a night every night seven days a week they’re very reliable.

    I stumbled on your channel and have watched many of your videos. You, your son, and family, must surely make God proud, You are obviously the real deal. You are so smart and creative and you seem to be capable of ANYTHING. I’m married to a guy who looks good in a suit, wears the best cologne, but he could not fix a flat tire if our lives depended on it. What happened to real men? How do you even know how to do all this stuff? Certainly not taught in school. I wish I had a man like you and I know at least a 100 beautiful girls who would be lucky to meet your son. I hope your family appreciates you. If /when shit hits the fan I would really like to know where to find you.

Probably a neighbor you never really noticed, mowing his lawn on Saturdays, drinking a lemonade. When SHTF they will find you. My son does not drink or smoke, no drugs. He doesn't need a gun. He will just take yours. He is certified Krav Maga, which the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) hand to hand combat training. He has not found a girl that even comes close, YET, I keep hoping. What a grandchild they might bring.

      I don't think they are targeting me personally. They go door to door. My house is one of hundreds in a new housing tract in Kingman, AZ, and a perfect target to many sales people. They can cover a lot of territory in a short amount of time. They seem to be above respect or honor. I have a "NO SOLICITING" sign on my door which they ignore. I know they see the sign because I can hear them joke and mock it, since my cameras have microphones. My neighbors have chased them away screaming in frustration while they laugh. On my cameras, I have seen other sales people see my sign and walk away. It seems to be solar salesmen who are the rudest violators. One of my neighbors has his roof full of solar panels yet they knock on his door wanting to sell him solar panels. These people are not the "sharpest tools in the shed", as the saying goes. We don't even answer the door anymore. But it makes the dogs bark as they claw up our front door, and wake up the baby. Neighbors just text each other if there is something of importance. So I ask you, why are they messing with me?

    I’m in Mohave County as well, near the skywalk… you’re very lucky with the well depth, mine is at 1,500’ for 4.5 GPM at the start and I stop pumping at 2.5 GPM…. Did Brown Drilling do it for you? I use to fly a Cinestar, not with a Red mind you. LOL

      @arizonaeric9598 7 місяців тому

      Yes. Gene Brown. Lucky to have so much water so easy. We can pump 3000 gallons without slowing down. 1500 feet is long way down there. I think Meadviews wells are 700 feet

    • @arizonaeric9598
      @arizonaeric9598 4 місяці тому

      You flew a Cinestar? Seriously? Do you know how rare that is? Nobody would even know what you are talking about, yet they watch movies everyday that have low altitude scenes shot from a "lawnmower sized" Cinestar drone under 400 feet AGL where helicopters cannot legally fly. You seem to have done everything! Try flying one with a 15lb RED camera above Beyonce snd JayZ, at night with 25mph gusts. They said it was my no crash/safety record that got me the job. No damage, no one hurt, drone/camera a little dusty, and got all the shots they asked of me. Even though I was pushed by the directors beyond my better judgment, I managed to keep my reputation and safety record intact because I was a better pilot than videographer.. Unlike today's Hollywood drone pilots who were lifelong videographers who turned instantly into drone pilots with drones that fly themselves. No need to a be "pilot". I have such a friend that was flying for one of those "Shark Reality" shows and when weather got nasty he became afraid, could not control his drone, panicked, and hit the "return to home" button. The drone did exactly as it was programmed to do and landed exactly from the place it took off. The only problem was the boat had drifted 100 feet away from where he took off and he watched his $50k rig sink into the ocean. I was flying gas powered RC helicopters 40 years ago and actually learned how to fly before cameras ever came on the scene. I can fly a drone manually with it's computer controls turned off. I learned back then, how not to crash. A crash meant money that I did not have and that was a powerful motivator. That does not seem to be factor nowadays.. I got paid $5k per day. One of the days I didn't even fly, just waited shootin the breeze with the crew and extras. There were at least a 100 hired people for this one music video. Most at the catering truck getting free food. ua-cam.com/video/uYZNywrSFqY/v-deo.html

      @@arizonaeric9598 It’s pathetic what’s become of the industry, your return to home incident is a perfect example of the loss of common sense and more importantly the complete lack of any of the real background into what is keeping your quadcopter in the air…. The various little things that all needed to be in alignment, every hole needed to be lined up like slices of Swiss cheese in order for you to have a flight without the new firmware you just loaded into your Naza, Wookong etc…. Say those words to a “drone pilot” today and they just look at you with a blank stare, ask them about Freefly Systems or any of the other awesome stuff we played with and again blank stares..

      We seem to have a lot in common. I was a wild west drone cowboy building them from parts long before you could buy them at your local Best Buy store. I just bought a DJI foldable backpack drone and while it very cool, it's s bit intimidating because it's smarter than me. Back in 1970's it took me nearly a year to pass the "periot" test where you have to fly a helicopter nose in, flying circles around yourself, maintaining a constant altitude height and distance 4 times in a single flight. Now I can just push a button and this drone does it better than i could while I sit in a chair and drink my sugar-free lemonade. Here is a video of my first flights up at the ranch. ua-cam.com/video/Nc6ItsIgYKE/v-deo.html

    The best way to prevent rats under your trailer is set up traps like A large bucket filled with water and either a string or a small dowel with straws slit on them above the bucket put the food in the middle in between the two straws when they try to get it they'll slip on the straws and drop in the buckets and drowned before they ever make it into your house. There are a lot of different easy traps to do that with you just have to clean them out every once in awhile

    Those types of problems are gut-wrenching, no pun intended. You could have gone on forever had it not been for your friend. It sounds as if the "design" of an original OEM water pump was the culprit. I am taken aback why you parted the old one and it didn't repair the problem. In any event, why isn't this peculiar and odd problem documented by the professional boat mechanics? Very odd problem, indeed. I am 74 and have had 5 different boats, me current and last one is a 21' bayliner. I live in Pasadena and have been to every lake over the years. Also I have been to Long Beach and Santa Barbara, and even gone to Catalina. However, with that said, our favorite all time spot? Lake Mead! We have explored it greatly, having gone from Boulder, up north to Temple Bar on a few occasions. Hard not to explore Mead when the water was up, but these days it's been iffy. Thanks for your fine video and WARNING. If and when the temp rises, I will immediately think of you! May safety follow you and your family(s) always. Fellow boater, Neb.

      Thanks for sharing your story. Yes, odd that even boat mechanics use the aftermarket pumps found on ebay with googd success and no one even mentioned OEM. One guy said the pump was originally designed for the smaller 5.7 but Volvo decided to put it on the 7.4 knowing it would be marginal. However, my problem was not marginal. There was no water at all.

    I bought a home built by preppers- electric heat pump, 500-gallon oil tank in the basement for backup primary heat, AND a 500 gallon buried propane tank for the rangetop only(!) , The water heater and oven are electric). The house and the tank are both 21 years old. At the rate I'm using propane it will be a hundred years before I need a refill. I had a local propane supply company check it when I moved in three years ago, and thet certified it after replacing a weeping primary pressure regulator... but they did a leak test, not an anode protection test. Should I buy a cathodic protection testing tool kit do I can take my own readings on occasion?

    Hey Eric, great video! Question, is the park service going to do any prepping of the ramp area past the cement launch? There are a couple of piles of dirt that could be push out and flatten(groomed) for when the launch possible opens. The level is at 1075.76 - 2/19. It looks like the dirt area after the cement ramp has eroded due to rain water going down the ramp. It’s less Area then in your video. Would love to touch base with you. What a great video. Shows how such a small oversight can cause a big problem. Troubleshooting a problem is always the hardest part. Your knowledge of how the system in your house was put together allowed you to solve the problem fairly quickly. Nice job! This is not the only place where not using dielectric unions can cause problems. Plumbing systems using dissimilar metals comes to mind as another. Thanks for posting.

    Do you remember who your suppliers was for the anode bag and the dielectric fitting? Great video that you produced!

      Thanks! The dielectric fitting info and webpage are in the video if you watch it carefully. The anode was the last one from a local company going out of business. I dont think we will ever see that price ever again.

    Ok, so for some reason I still think I could maybe do this one day, lol. You laid your conduit before your driveway was poured, what would I do if that's not an option? Can't really visualize how to get the wires to the box otherwise. Thanks for such a great video btw!

      There are water pressure tunnelers but you have to backfill. Or you sawcut the concrete. I have sawcut after thoughts many times. It's not that big of a deal as it sounds. There is always a way

    Hi, great job first of all. I can never do this. Too much electrical work involved. At the end of the video it seemed to me that when the gates open, the gap between the gate and the post is wider towards the bottom than towards the top. Am I correct and is there a reason why?

    • @arizonaeric9598
      @arizonaeric9598 Рік тому

      Very observant. Hinges are offset to make the gate rise as it opens

    My wife and I are building a Timber Frame cabin from lumber I milled myself in Williams. After watching your video I can totally relate! The first 3 years was dirt work. Driveway, septic system and then the foundation for the cabin. I bought a 40 year old Massey Ferguson. Hydraulic leaks, new tires but it runs good! My son is a Master mechanic at a Drilling Company which helps. Beautiful property you have there. Awesome there are so many like minded people in Arizona. We are neighbors. Our neighbors welcomed us after they found out I was a Blacksmith and Timber Framer. It is a lot more work than I anticipated but so rewarding. Living "debt-free" is a thing especially now. Get out of the "matrix". I don't like the matrix they have created so decided to create my own. We'll all make it by helping each other. Good luck. Subscribed.

      Wells were already there at about 370 ft 12 to 15 GPM. I pulled the 240 volt pump from one well and replaced with a pump that will run solar. 30 to 300 volts AC or DC. Two panels runs it full until the float switch turns it off. Nice not having to run the generator, one less thing to do. That will be in the next episode, coming soon I hope.
