Another great ride
Cool video
Happy Birthday
Thanks so much!
Fun, Great job
Thanks!
Love this
🚀
Another Great job.. how beautiful
Great job
Great video. Is 40mm tire ok for the downhills on this route?
For me, at 5:32 the decent starts to exceed my comfort zone for my maxxis Rambler 40c tires. I have seen people do jumps and other fun things with these tires. But I just hate dealing with flats. Other then that, very fast and necessary for 60+ mile gravel race
Great job and vidio
Careful on that yellow line it can get very slippery
mmmm listen to that ichiban burn 43:13
Love it! Keep up the great work!
Protect Dave at all costs. Dudes hilarious! Hahahaha the throwing of the chain, this is such a good short!
F meeeeeee 😂
I’m here for the hits when they’re fresh. Not even posted for 30 mins ❤️

Beautiful spot. Wow, that photo came out so soft and calming. Great work!

Super cool! Man, lots of fixed gear hipsters in here. You do you bro! Stay awesome!
Look at you doing UA-cam shorts before it was a thing!
Showed up in my feed again! 😂
Max bush!
I’m here for the Titus.
How do you maintain brake maintenance?
Do you have a specific issue with your brakes?
I take it to my favorite local bike shop. Lolz
what editing software you using?
Garmin virb software along with Final Cut Pro.
Crashed VOL 2 brought me here!
What are you using for the telemetry?
Garmin Virb software www.garmin.com/en-US/p/573412
I have the exact same frame from 1994; still going strong.
I am really interested in doing this event. How difficult, in terms of just being wrecked/fatigued by stage 6 is this event? It looks amazing!
It all depends on when you decide to make your move and how good you are at pacing yourself. It's not a technically hard race but the altitude is a great equalizer. Stage Racing is about planning when you want to attack and when you want to just set an endurance pace. The altitude was something i don't think most people can adjust to easily. Depending on where you live...Breck is at 9,000 ft starting. Most people struggled to sleep the first couple of nights because you can't take a breath. I only started feeling adapted to hypoxia by the 5th day because I did not stay in break for more than a day before the race.
Overall, how technical would you say this route is?
Hummmmm thats hard to say without knowing your skill level. it has spots that can be considered more technical than the most technical spots in Leadville (i have never done leadville but i have herd people say this.) The things i would highlight would be, the dust has always been a serious problem compared to the altitude. It has spots that take some finesse but can be overcome if you have a big engine. I personally didn't like this race but used it for a test for my Breck Epic fitness.
thank you. I've ridden in Tahoe in really dusty conditions and hated it. Breathing dust is not my favorite thing, I can' t imagine doing it for 60 miles. I've been riding for maybe 15 years, but my downhill skills are adequate but chicken level. I'm sure I would make more time on the climbs and flats ocmpared to others, who would haul ass down a hill and beat me that way.. I would do this race for a test also, but more as a qualifier...I've heard the Breck Epic is really hard too.The other qualifying race is the Leadville Silver Rush 50...sounds really hard too........
I think you would do fine then but the dust is a big issue almost right off the gate. Since this is a leadville qualifier, expect a lot of overly ambitious and agressive people past the mid pack groups. Breck Epic is very very hard but amazingly beautiful. I am going back just to see the terrain and hopefully not crash again.
back to Tahoe, or back to Breck Epic? Which one did you crash on?
Hahahahaha Crashed at the Breck Epic *not* at the Tahoe trail 100. ua-cam.com/video/A1a4x_u2AOo/v-deo.html
The audio on this video is creepy! Cool video. That trail is brutal by itself let alone after riding all the other stages.
I have a titus racer x frame and want to know what mtb fork can I use to build it?
phil law any fork you want. I have a fox 34
Was designed I believe for 100mm fork. Thats what I put on it.
Hahaha that "terrible reel sound" is a Chris King rear hub on a titanium frame.
I love this video! Almost as good as riding the trail.
is that a wal mart bike you are riding? If not adjust your derailleur or half click your shifter.
Hahahaha. The most expensive Walmart bike known. Ibis Mojo ti 26er pretty cool for 2012 standards.
The road sections are very sketchy with the traffic. They need to change things for next year.
Are you local to prescott? I want to do this ride but have no idea where the trail is.
Negative. I am from California.
haha looks like you had the same problem as me... didnt get to the starting line soon enough for a good spot
thankfully with the new design not much of a bottleneck. I should not have waited all the way in the back. But people were lined up an hour before the start of the race and i did not want to stand and wait that long.
Bad road markings...unefficient, as one can see, especially in the area of the parking lot. Cannot believe this is the way they organise your road races in the u.s. you were lucky,.
what is that terrible reel sound?
Hahahahahahaha. This is a feature of the Chris King rear hubs.
It actually does nothing, as there is an error in the launch.
