after doing some research bidi is literally just tobacco cigarettes, there is absolutely no difference in the raw psychoactive substance that you are consuming, nicotine, between bidi and cigarettes, none at all. the difference lies in how they are made, cigarettes are controlled, grown by huge corporations inside huge industrial facilities, sprayed with thousands of chemicals (preservatives, flavour enhancers, pesticides etc) and are pure fucking dog shit, these are then rolled in cigarette paper, which is made from thin, lightweight fibres from non-wood plants, such as: flax, hemp, sisal, rice straw, and esparto bidi on the other hand is home grown/locally sourced, its not come through any poxy government or tax system, and is rolled in exclusively temburni leaf - because there's no regulation, testing, or bullshit sprayed onto bidi, this causes it to be quite different to cigarettes, most notably it's generally stronger, as nicotine levels are not managed, just left as is, and tastes more authentic to a true tobacco flavour, this may be a positive or a negative to you, it's subjective but generally it will be quite a harsher, more bitter and 'raw' taste and smoking experience, as many of the chemicals sprayed onto cigarette tobacco are there to make it smoother and more pleasant to smoke

Lol. Bidis are completely legal, you can buy them here in the UK too. They do have tobacco in them but it's from Nicotiana rustica rather than N. tabacum, which is the usual tobacco plant. IT's just got loads more nicotine than regular tobacco. I used to smoke them when I was a student.

Chewing tobacco is nice. Kind of tastes like dried fruit, and is also very strong. The buzz you get from it is crazy. Make sure spit and not swallow any bc it can make you sick if you eat it. It can cause some mild blisters on the gumbs and cheeks. You may have some skin peeling from inside your mouth for the first few times, but this is normal. I wouldn’t recommend a chewing tobacco habit unless you want mouth cancer tho
