I don't know half these songs.

So, fun story. A few weeks before I went to see nationals that year I was in Big Fish the musical and when they got to the Edward Bloom voice over I squealed.

I can't believe I came across this video! I went to see my grandkids in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium in November perform with the Golden Regiment. This is the indoor version of what they performed that evening. My grandson Christian is front and center throughout this entire video on the tympanis! Thanks to whomever ran video of this performance.

These awe inspiring high school students are blessed with an amazing director (a wonderful, brillaint man who sacrifices much to ensure his students lifes are musically enriched), an extraordinary team of music educators (who also sacrifce much...these educators have been with the students since they first picked up their instruments...How cool is that?), at least one choreographer (there are no words to describe her creative talent), at least one music producer (also incredibly talented), a brave audio technician (😉), other staff - the multitaskers - who assist everyone with whatever they need, as well as take care of the clerical and communication responsibilities (ensuring music remains the primary focus...THANK YOU), ever changing groups of parent volunteers, and parents of Alumni who continue volunteering years after their own student(s) graduate. "...it takes a village..." Thank you village.

Why couldn't I have lived in an area that has a marching band program like this. More skilled and professional than my band.
