Hi, is there a way to sent some tag value with a server client to an url(external) and get comunication between both? note: it could be using a plc getting the data or as simulation of tags but sending the tag value to an api url
Hi Yes however you will need to establish a communication path first on both ends. My suggestion would be NodeJS. That’s actually coming in one of my videos in a near future.

If you got to the manufacturers website, they should have one if it’s IO Link capable.

Hi Khanh, Apologies for answering question with a question. Do you get an error? Have you tried running the TIA As admin? Also I would check if you have the right device in a right place.
@@johnkula5168 we always need s7 pct before we can start device tool right ?

@@johnkula5168 I have a guardlogix 5380 controller. After I finish the set up and go to properties in the device and select create tags I get the error. I am using the Allen Bradley Controllogix Ethernet driver with model CompactLogix 5300 family selected

Thanks for the video. Can you tell me what we need on the AB PLC side? Do we need any kind of OPC DA driver or do we need a certain type of ethernet module.
Hi Melese, On the PLC side all you would need is the program and the IP address to be on the same subnet as the sever. The Kepware will do the rest.

Hey do you have video for Siemens S7 1200 cpu using Ethernet or micrologix 1000 using serial?
Hi Liban Abu. I do not at the moment but the difference between Siemens and Compact logix is that you would need to specify the absolute addressing in the Kepware. At this point I dont think that Kepware has the capability to auto populate tags for Siemens.
