Jason, not the hero we want, but the hero we deserve.

I usually like these stories but I wasn't that all into this one for a few reasons. A race with high intelligence like the Lurians doesn't know how to handle a disease outbreak, it's not believable. I think it should have been expanded on a little better to make it more viable, like it laid dormant in their systems for years before the outbreak, or it was engineered like another commenter had said. The progression of the story was way too fast, it takes months, possibly years to work on diseases, and finding a cure for them. But this exploration crew that ISN'T a medical ship can somehow help this highly intelligent race in a matter of days with things like quarantine zones etc., that the Lurians didn't already do for some reason? Lastly the advancement of technology was way too fast too, again this stuff takes years to develop but by the pacing of the story the humans do it in a matter of days. Overall the pacing and backstory needs some serious work, it just wasn't believable. I'm not sure if you wrote this or you copied it from someone online, please don't take offense to criticism. I just love writing and like reading good stories.

This story does NOT fit the mythology of the character. He is NOT fully indestructible and those alien weapons would have destroyed him if they stuck to the mythos of those Halloween movies. If a very aged Jamie Lee Curtis can take one of his fingers then those alien weapons can take a lot more from him.
