Honda TRX-70 rear axle removal

This is my first attempt at an instructional video. So be kind. It could be better but this would have helped me. I used a dead blow mallet rather than the hammer to get the axle to come out. And yes I said, "the axle comes out left to right." but it taps out right to left.

I dont know man. I all but got paid to pick that bike up. When it was mine I got it running. Then put it up for sale. The guy who bought really didnt care whether it ran or not. He just wanted to display it. It is a pretty bike.

@@vromeropt should the sprocket have some play in it . My sons seems to move small bit back and forth . Haven't tore it down yet to see. Noticed the sprocket just sits in some grooves

Thank you so much!!! I’m about to rebuild my 87 TRX70 that my dad bought me when I was 4 years old, for my 4yo son. Fortunately mines in really great shape and been garage kept it’s whole life. But the rear bearings are gone and I am about to tear into it.

@@vromeropt what does it mean no smog equipment? I'm about to purchase one of those and it's without California plate..
Nir dvorkin, contact your state's DMV and see if it is legal to not have smog equipment in your state. Give them the Vin #.
@@nirdvorkin135 Usually on the front part of the frame there is an EPA emission sticker. It will either say meets 49 state standards or specifically meets California emission standards. I just had to let a screaming good deal on a Honda Sabre go because of an out of state sticker. Sucks huh?
