Do you have a part number for this?
Nice video. Thanks for doing that. I may have to tackle on my 04 Taurus DOHC. I was able to get a socket on the upper drivers side stud. With just a socket and my hand, the stud came off (broken at manifold). Last mechanic must have over torqued and decided to button up the cat/man install without fixing that. So, if my 420 code doesn't clear with 4 new O2 sensors, y pipe, and back cat, then I'll be doing this repair. Hopefully no more broken studs. Paul, did the back pressure from the clogged cats cause any oil leaks.
God I don't want to do this 😓 Thank you for video
This is why I drive a Model T.😊
All you need is a few cameras that are slightly better and you would really have a great thing going. Other than that video was very helpful.
video was good but too much shaking of the camera
How many miles were on the car?
It had around 170000 miles when I did this
My Taurus is pretty much doing the same thing it's just not rattling though. But my bank 1 firewall cat is thrown a code and when I read the live data with the scan tool it's not removing hydrocarbons anymore. So I'm sure its prolly empty, broke apart and fell down and is blocking the rear cat now or melted down. I've lost lots of power, takes forever to get to highway speeds so I'm pulling that out right now. If I can't clean the rear Cat I might just hollow it out. The front 2 should still be workin but will see.
