you didnt explain why but, here is a few reasons. Yes the name brand. The other parts are because of the cost of American manufacturing and the last part is the cost of the warranty is built in. When you get a snap on tool you can math the amount of times you will have to have it replaced and you will see that the large upfront cost is just a built in safetynet.

Majority of people don’t understand our economic system,regulations, inflation, the cost of American manufacturing. That all adds into the price. Nine wrenchs at fifty five dollars each isn’t unreasonable. I have ten years daily use in a set now.
