I've thought about doing this with a gaming laptop I have, I8750H 12core CPU and a mobile 1070, so that 1070 is quite outdated, this could be a great solution. Thanks for posting this and it was an absolute treat seeing everything you encountered along the way! As far as traveling with this in a suitcase, maybe you can show us how you'd have that set-up practically with other essentials like clothing packed in there. Yes, an addiction maaaybe but a hobby for sure man :)

Sfx power supplies come with an adapter bracket for atx power supply placement. So the case manufacturer wasnt lying

what I always wanted to have / make was a PC in a Briefcase. idk if those you had those things around, but in my fam, we had some metal cases which had a thin layer of black foam inside and we used that for tools and stuff. would be cool to see something like that in a future project maybe :D

A good psu usually comes with a bezel to fit larger openings. Thats why it wasnt “compatible”

Hey Garran, Apevia makes affordable PSUs, but be careful. IF the PC overheats and shuts off, they will no longer work the same and will fry a motherboard. I had a 850W apevia PSU and i had to replace my PSU and motherboard after a crash.

Decent Video, and I am by no means an expert at video editing, I hope you take this as constructive criticism and not as just a negative comment, but You should be able to cut the video so it doesn't show that you put the package on the table with your address "showing", or blur it. Which sort of brings me to the main thing you can fix, either on your camera or in post with Davinci or Premiere Pro or whatever editing software, you need to back off the White, it s washing out the video and makes it difficult to watch.

I use to have a similar setup, on my old laptop to play pcvr as I didn’t have the funds for a new pc 5 years ago, I had a RX580, attached via pci-e had to remove the WiFi card to use that port tho. It worked well 🎉
