Actually, I lied, today is going to be my last day as I am going to have a ride with my friend to Lake Louise today again.

There's a hotel right on the mountain at Sunshine. Susan my friend normally stays in Banff. Use a hotel booking site called Expedia. There is a shuttle that will take you from Banff to the ski hill. Hope this will help

yes, Juck the last day is supposed to be May 20 at Sunshine so it is coming to an end fast but we are still enjoying whatever we can till then.

yeah, it was soft sticky and slushy in the afternoon but I will take it over firm solid and frozen from the morning conditions

Telling the truth I don't have a favourite run - I enjoy every run when there is good soft snow condition and coverage but for challenges, I would to face, I would pick the back side

yeah it is still good considering only half of the snowpack this year and yes if I remember it is supposed to be open at LL till May 5

Thank you Bobby for your comments - I knew you going to like it :), but unfortunately, I don't have the link to the music as I downloaded it from the internet a long time ago and now I am mounting the video with the music background from my collection. It is royalty-free music and it is called the Journey to the Stars by Slavfk. Yes, the season is almost over and I want to practice so much more yet, especially with that powder I am still struggling with and which we don't have too often.

@@ziggysski Thank you sir, I'll look for the music. As for skiing the powder, just lean back on the skis a bit more it will raise the tips making it easier to float and ski through the powder. Also pivot more using the poles to make your turns more comfortable by turning your upper torso downhill while counting 1,2,3 pivot turn, sink slightly down using your hips then plant the pole to go to your next turn. Try these tips they work for me, again Thank you for the feed back love your videos.

Sure that will be fun I hope though that the weather will cooperate that day and Lake Louise probably is not that big like the Big White as the name is Big for the reason so don't worry hahaha. I envy people who are skiing so easily on every run and I am challenging myself to do that too so even I am sh....tless scared I am going out of my bubble and trying the most difficult ones from time to time. I did it before so it shouldn't be so difficult anymore right? hahaha

oh that very sweet thank you do you have any ideas and suggestions for my videos? and yes I am trying to be careful although it is sometimes hard to avoid. I watch mine like also other's videos during summertime

@@ziggysski i'm happy with your clip , landscape , people , skiing all good your clip is probably not best but i like , haha if you want ,however , any suggestion , i would say that be careful when you film safety is best , a friend of mine has been seriously injured even if he is expert level . please enjoy the rest of your season , safely

Hello Juck, yeah long time indeed and feel sorry for that early closing season. Hope you had a good season as we experienced extreme conditions from a deep freeze of - 40ish to a hot February of +10. Hopefully, it is still going for a while yet as we have half of the normal pack, so not sure if that will be enough till May.

Paradise is ok it is just we like always took extra turns to run unconventional trails, looking for good snow or just to discover, through the trees and stuff like that, so it looks not convincing :) It was a little hard-packed but it was ok. Thanks for your comments Bobby and for liking my videos

@@ziggysski I was there one that very day, Lake Louise March 6, 2024.. I get emotional reflecting on my dumb luck to be born Canadian. Paradise has nothing on Lake Louise on a blue bird day.

It is hard for me to explain as I am more to follow than to guide and can never remember how to get to certain places but as I remember it is like traversing from Sunset Terrace to like you said to Charlie Choice

Hmm hard to tell Bobby, it depends on the snow conditions that's why we are more often at Sunshine than Lake Louise lately. They both are good when the conditions are right. I am happy that you enjoy my videos and my ski adventures

@@ziggysski usually , on mondays and wendsdays i've been skiing , happy remember ? 2018 winter olympics games in pyungchang there is my ski resort i 've gone to unbelievally , ski slopes haven't been fully open yet due to global warming anyway i 've been enjoying my winter . i've been skiing since 1986 so my ski level is not terrible but basically i am a sort of touring skier maybe i am between level 1 and level 2 , 1.5 haha

@@jucktv1629 Happy to know you better thanks for sharing. I have been skiing only 5 years and mostly skiing now blues and single blacks although I did double blacks a few times too but still scares me a little hahaha

@@ziggysski 5 years is enough time to be comfortable at skiing especially in ski paradise canada plus , important thing is enjoying all about ski so level is nothing .

Thank you Jucktv and I am sorry but a combination of lack of snow, and not feeling well was causing that delay. That is why I went again when the opportunity arose even though was starting to be cold already as it would be another week before the temperatures would come to normal again. It is -36 just right now and that is without windchill yet and the temps are supposed to go up on Tuesday

well depends on which part of the video you want to know as basically there are 3 runs (parts) on the video 1 is borderline of Standish chair and ends up on Waterfall 2 From Goat's Eye chair to Rolling Thunder and 3 is from the Great Divide chair
