Mobile internet has evolved incredibly over the last 10 years in India, before which many people's worlds were as tiny as a peanut. The sudden exposure to the outside world is making some of them ('some' in Indian terms should be read as 'a lot' by outsiders considering their huge population) overly fascinated by its beauty, or in your case, cuteness, leaving them wanting more of it. Imagine a monkey finds a smartphone and sees pictures of Megan Fox from Transformers-they drive him crazy. I know I'm insulting my fellow Indians here, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Not due to malicious mindset, but lack of enough exposure or education about the outside world. Apologies on their behalf!!

Hi, I'm a little late to the game but I beg you to not overlook The Moomins as an interesting piece of art as well. Tove talked about grief, codependance, exile, malfunctionning family dynamics, child abuse and also, yes, queer love in it. It's very complex and she had a lot to say, a ton of what she said she did say it trough the moomins. You should look it up it's brilliant work. Good day A girl with a moomin tatoo as well.

I've now kept you talking for several hours in the background when working: most enjoyable, thank you! About Lang's other movies: he also directed the first screen adaptation 'Man Hunt' of Geoffrey Household's 1939 novel Rogue Male, this was made in 1941 Hollywood, when USA was not yet involved in the war. Clive Donner directed another version in 1976, with Peter O'Toole as the Englishman going after big game. Both movies are quite watchable.

The first Oldfield record I bought was Airborn. Still play it from time to time. But... the one thing I've found special is that he's a pilot. I remember him having a Beechcraft, maybe from the time he recorded Five Miles Out? The musicians that fly, I swear to heavens... Mike Oldfield, Gary Numan, Bruce Dickinson... here in Finland we have a guitarist with a PPL certificate, Heikki Silvennoinen, who also writes comedy. Damn, all that talent and skill.

I wouldn't say Tubular Bells was the best thing he ever did personally. It was his most successful work if that's what you meant. However as great as it is there's many other great works from him that are better. One of Mike's personal favourite albums is Amarok from 1990.

What is your definition of quite wealthy? Her father was a retail broker for Merrill Lynch based in Reading PA and thus was able to take his book of clients with him to Nashville. He probably was doing well for Reading PA, but doing well is not the same as weathy. I'm not directing this criticism specifically to you. It’s the narrative that was created to somehow diminish T. Swifts success.

There's a brief MTV interview Kate did in the '80s, at the height of MTV's time actually focusing on music... probably around the time of the Hounds of Love album, where... the question asked wasn't as sexist as the 1979 interview... but was even more brain-dead and you can see Kate reach her limit. Her answer was fairly polite but the look she gives the interviewer was withering. I forget the question and answer but it made an impression. I can see your "anti-Tom Waits" comparison, but Kate and Tom are both equally eclectic - - they both give zero fucks about anyone thinking they're weird or uncommercial. Both are theatrical. I'm a huge fan of both.

It's from the Night Flight interview in 1986 and I believe the question asked was "What are you looking for in a man?" and Kate was definitely irritated with that sexist question. Also, I like the comparison you made with Tom Waits and Kate Bush since they are extremely eccentric and enigmatic artists who don't like being in the spotlight. And they are both in my top 5 favorite artists of all time!

It’s hard to compare Alien and Aliens, so different plus I always give the original extra points for being new and milestone setting and much like Star Wars, saw at theater in 77 and still think it’s the best out of the entire franchise, even better than Empire which was great , but Star Wars 77 about farm boy defeats the empire was so great , also Ripley in Alien was such a boss with the crew, of course she dominates in Aliens , love both seen many times, thanks again y’all!

I just landed at this podcast, courtesy to the algorithms. I do like podcasts which has genuine conversations so I stayed and it was really pleasant. However, I must address this for you guys. Your reaction views blew up because you touched an Indian subject. Especially, being a Westerner, Indians will definitely watch it to understand your perspective. Perhaps, your subscriptions and view will keep building exponentially if your content stays Indian but if that's not your intention (frankly it shouldn't be) then you might start putting a heads up in your videos so that you retain only genuine subscribers instead of the Indian wave. Please dont let your subscribers decide your views. Secondly and more importantly, as an Indian I must apologize for the behavior inflicted in your inbox. This is something you'll need to ignore because this will never ever change with the Indian audiences. You'll always have tons of them in the inbox. I know it's an inaccurate and poor representation but there's a logic to it. Internet in India is dirt cheap. A farmer in remote part of india might not have basic essentials but will have a smartphone and internet. It's that cheap. So your audience is also tons of those people who just spend their time on internet doing things like these. There's a huge segment of such crowd and they also make huge crunch of digital India. Let's say in 100% of Indian audiences, 10% are them and our 10% is lot more than your 10% in population. 90% of us might listen, like your videos, some might subscribe and just move on. The more enthusiastic ones might comment in public domain videos and those 10% ones will only show up in your inbox. That's a hazard of social media in populated countries like us. Frankly, you guys are talented but even if you weren't, Indian content is just a simple cheat code used by millions of youtubers and it's okay because it still builds a good narration towards India, however it definitely has it's hazards so please stay wise and safe and let not the trolls build an idea of a typical Indian. A lot of us are pretty much still following the same dharma of the main characters in this movie. Oh having spoken of the movie, this movie is told from multiple perspectives. Some of them are eminent like the elements, historical setups etc, there are subtle story mirroring from ancient epic like Ramayana. The whole 'rescue Ram' act is retelling of a part of Ramayana, where Bheem is represented by God Hanumaan. Also, interestingly Bheem name is taken from Mahabharata, where he was said to have strength of thousand elephants. Hence the super power element comes to Bheem from that perspective. What's even crazier is that Hanuman was also there in Mahabharata (he is immortal) as a guru of Bheem before the battle. Similarly, Ram represents and very literally represents Lord Rama in the climax. Hanuman is a huge devotee of Lord Rama, hence there is a little brother's aura around Bheem when he is with Ram There are tons of symbolism and frankly they are better than easter egg concept but I'm tired of writing. I haven't typed so long for a while.. If not me, my fingers gonna die now......
