    Le bhith gar àicheadh fhèin a’ gabhail a’ chrois agus a’ leantainn Tighearna Iosa Crìosd tha sin a’ fuasgladh èiginn dearbh-aithne sam bith agus gar dèanamh cinnteach às ar dearbh-aithne mar mhic Dhè. Thuirt Derek prionnsa: gheibhear eaglais gun spot no roc mar bean na bainnse aig Crìosd. Tha mi a’ smaoineachadh gun tuirt e spotan a’ ciallachadh peacadh gun aideachadh agus tha wrinkle a’ ciallachadh gun a bhith sìth ri èildearan. Tha mi a’ creidsinn ma tha sinn a’ gèilleadh do cheann-cinnidh agus ag aideachadh ar peacaidhean dha agus gun a bhith a’ call sìth leis na seanairean a dh’aona ghnothach, an uairsin mura h-eil an ceannardas gu tur iomlan na mhaitheas foirfe, tòisichidh e air sgàineadh. Ach ma tha e gu tur iomlan na mhaitheas foirfe, bheir e dhuinn dearbh-aithne agus nàdar coltach ris. Dìreach mar nuair nach deach àite a lorg dha Satan air neamh no air an talamh, chan eil ach aon àite air fhàgail, tha mi a’ cur an cunnart tomhas nuair a gheibh sinn ar dearbh-aithne, a tha mar ar n-àite san treas neamh, gun lorg sinn ar n-àite gu fèin-ghluasadach agus gun socraich sinn. , mar a dh' òrduich Dia. Tha mi a’ creidsinn nach eil againn ach faighinn a-mach ciamar a tha sinn nar mac math do Dhia an athair, agus cò sinn mar a mhic. Tha mi a’ creidsinn gur e sin a tha a dhìth gus an gaol naomh a sgaoileadh ann an èigneachadh. Tha ar dearbh-aithne annainn nas motha na tha i anns an t-saoghal. Mar sin tha dearbh-aithne cuideachd eòlach air agus a 'lorg ar n-àite ann am fìrinn.

      I used Google translate for the above. Denying ourselves by taking up the cross and following the Lord Jesus Christ solves any identity crisis and assures us of our identity as sons of God. Prince Derek said: a church without spot or rock can be found as the bride of Christ. I think he said spots means unconfessed sin and wrinkle means no peace with elders. I believe that if we submit to a chief and confess our sins to him and not intentionally lose peace with the elders, then if the leadership is not completely complete than perfect goodness, it starts to crack. But if it is absolutely complete in its perfect goodness, it gives us a similar identity and nature. Just as when no place was found for Satan in heaven or on earth, there is only one place left, I hazard a guess when we find our identity, which is our place in third heaven, that we automatically find our place and settle down. , as God commanded. I believe that all we have to do is find out how we are a good son of God the father, and who we are as his sons. I believe that is what is needed to spread the holy love in rapture. Our identity is in us more than it is in the world. So identity is also knowing and finding our place in truth.

    Very, very disappointed by the "dominion" word in environment. The harsh placing of humans over all else. I hoped I had found a home. Guess not. Dominion has no place in love and harmony or even the hard reality of birth, death and the food chain.

    • @djfuzzgun9111
      @djfuzzgun9111 2 роки тому

      The dominion of man over the rest of creation is in the Bible. but what it really means is that God trusted us to take care of the earth and its creatures. The reality of death and suffering was not originally there, but came to be because humans abused the world and each other. To follow Christ means also to respect the beautiful world that was made through Him, to live in harmony with nature. Our nature is to love, and to take just what we need and give back what we can. Hope this helps see “dominion” a different way. Peace and blessings

    I’ve learned how St Ninian was by God’s grace able to reach a great deal of Scotland with the Gospel and developed a Christian community to continue that work after he would be gone to heaven. But it still is amazing testimony that the people that made the Romans build a wall to keep them out, were finally brought to their knees by the Word of God.

    This says that Celtic Christianity is compatible with church denominations modernly observed today (that you list in your video), but the Celtic Church was vehemently opposed to all of the Roman Church's changes to dates, festivals and even of replacing the Passover of the LORD by the new Roman 'Easter' (look up the Synod of Whitby 664 CE). They also rested on the Sabbath of the LORD as commanded in the Ten Commandments as the seventh day, not the first day (renamed in honour of the god Saturn by the Gentiles, that is 'Saturday' - not so in the Bible!). Patrick, Columbanus, Gall, Columba, Fursey, and other brave Celtic missionaries were not pan-pipe playing spiritualists, but fierce Bible adhering Christians, with a separist policy to the Church of Rome, Columbanus of Bangor, County Down, even calling the pope a heretic. You will not be able to keep the Sabbath of the LORD or remember the Lord's death as He instructed on the date of the Passover of the LORD, Nisan 14th in the Biblical calendar, as the Celtic Christians did. Patrick and Columba would not condone the Roman 'Easter' and "Sun"-day keeping in any of these denominations, whether Protestant or Catholic.

      @@user-er9zc8ni1s Don't tell me false you haughty judge. I humbly shared the Christian history of my hometown and you spurn it necause it doesn't agree with your experience or tradition. The Celtic saints or missionaries of Ireland dealt with your type when they encountered the opposing bishops of Europe who had them imprisoned because they would not teach their tradition. You can say what you like, but tradition is for the most part man-made and differs widely between denominations as a result, therefore their is no mandate under God (if you only recognise the Bible as part of your faith and not the full deciding authority) to follow them. You can protest, but it does not have to be an integral part of my faith any more than the Bible is only a part of yours. Leaving the Bible aside, you cannot persuede me to condone your traditions, which cannot be "apostolic" if the Jewish Apostles in the first Church did not observe them. The history of the Celtic Church & the Quartodecimans has nothing to do with modern evangelical heresy which you try to conflate in your critique without foundation. Your attitide is not one of a petprson I would like engage with. Do as you feel you like. Shalom. And "my" Bible, as you put it, is the original Hebrew which I read & write fluently. God bless you for sharing this. You have articulated my struggle. Although I am medically unable to travel, and thus will never see St. Cuthbert's, I have been led to Celtic Christianity as the capstone of my own (metaphorical) spiritual edifice. I have been a Christian since January of 1994, but always felt some part was missing. However, when God was ready, He led me to Celtic Christianity---a good deal of this leading came through the poetry of T. S. Eliot, and Thomas Jones, Jr. (who, unlike Eliot, has been mostly forgotten; but like Eliot, is immanently and immensely spiritual). I do not know how much of a lifespan I have left, given my situation, I will---going forward---have far more spiritual peace and contentment than I have had in the previous twenty-nine years.

      That is a really good question. I do not yet have the second prayer book and I am not sure yet at this point if I would be able to use the music under current copywrite limitations, but it is certainly something that can be looked into!
