Yeah. You only need the scanner to clear the code. It may clear when you run the car with the new MAF and it realises the numbers it’s seeing are what it expects.

Also need a new fuel filter im sure. Its the original. This thing seems to be only getting around 10-15mpg. The nearest shop to me is around 80 miles down a mountain. So will be doing all guess work. Absolutely mate, best of luck. We (and by we I mean the bald) did the fuel filter on mine. Was a fiddle but absolutely do able at home with axle stands.

You want a ricks electronics motorsports one. Easy to do, they have suppliers all over the world. They’re in US, but there were various suppliers here in AU where I live. Best option is to pull your starter, contact supplier and they send you the part you need based on part number you pull out of your bike. Triumph want to charge all sorts of parts to reduce the gearing of the starter, much bigger job and more expensive. Good luck.

A simple solution to a silly problem.

I had every kid available. The best bang for buck mods are a JB4, intercooler and lowering springs. Then after that, brembo brake upgrade to the 4 piston calipers.

So far the red dot has been working as normal, no issues with the battery or the screws backing out.

Yeah, it’s direct to their Meshtastic node then Bluetooth to their phone. Although you can get all in one devices that have screen and keyboard.

Yeah, so it does away with the cell tower. You send a message from your phone via Bluetooth onto the meshtastic “grid” and others pick it up in the same way. Can be direct message to your mate, or broadcast for general comms to all. Meshatastic can go quite far. Have a google of the current world record for meshtastic distance. Not in the same league as HAM, but no license, cheap as to get into, and no dry mouth when you hit the PTT button.

I used it as the blow off valve solenoid as my car had an electric wastegate.

It’s all easy compared to Straya. They’re in the process of changing our laws so we will be limited to 5 firearms…farmers limited to 10. They’re really trying to restrict those of us legitimate shooters because criminals can get hold of firearms. It’s a real shame. But in the UK, no pistols at all!

Yeah eventually the starter will just stop working. Being a hot start issue is kinda the warning. Mine survived a long time like that. I knew it was time to replace it when it wouldn’t restart after filling up with fuel. Had to wait at least 5 minutes!

The copper anti seize is something I have always used when doing plugs but NGK says specifically to NOT use it on their plugs so I decided they know more than me about the subject. Best to do plugs when engine is cold just so you dont have to worry about burning yourself, no need for engine to be up to temp.

They are the M45XL, you can run them in a stock car but there is no benefit and it might make cold starts on the rough side.

I had the jb4 on the car for 25k km. It was making about 165kw to the wheels.

Not that I’m aware of mate. Windows machine or macOS. Maybe Linux machine at a push.

Good question. I have never tried it and would have to do seem reading to see if it would work. I will see what I can find.
