It looks identical. DTFilm has more viberant colors. (DTGarment is 100% cmyk waterbased, but its still not latex free, the white underbase prettymuch also use latex. Just like DTFilm). Comparing DTGarment and DTFilm is basicly telling the difference between Plastisol (superseded by DTFilm) And Plasticharge (superseded DTGarment). Discharge are going to be superseded by DirectToFabric/Sublimation.

I don't think the question is which is softer. The question is which one would they rather purchase? Looks better? Feels better? Which one will last longer? Which one had higher graphics?

Dtf pops more. As someone who has worn a dtf made shirt that plastic feeling surface also causes you to sweat more. Feels like a layer of plastic on top of the cotton which retains heat more causing you to sweat. If you’re making a high end brand I’d avoid dtf it makes the shirt feel cheap.

I tried the T-Seal and that helps a bit. You may anna try it? It's hella expensive and kinda fragile!

my concern is longevity of the image. i ordered some prints like this and on the first wash, the image shrank and looked all wrinkled. shirts were from another company tho. so idk if that was where my issue was.

I own DTF PRINTER have for a year now and I'm telling you it feels like stickers on a shirt sounds like plastic VERY VERY HEAVY if you go light on the white base that image will wash out and won't last long you have to lay it on thick to last so it's a double edge sword and the printers have nothing but problems after problems after problems and my customers do not like DTF prints DTF is not breathable either more ink you lay more heavy it is more plastic it feels and just horrible DTG is honestly better! Go get a DTG hybrid so you can do DTG and DTF. DTG and Screen printing is king! My customers love Screen print and DTG way better then DTF hands down DTF honestly is not that good! like I said I own a print shop and I have a DTF printer THEY ARE NOT WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE!!! THEY ARE CHEAPER PRICED PRINTERS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR I SPENT 7,000 ON MINE AND ITS A PAPER WEIGHT PRETTY MUCH EVERY DAY ALL DAY NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS, CHEAPER MADE, CHEAP COMPONENTS, CHEAP LOOKING PRINTS AND FEEL JUST CHEAP ALL THE WAY AROUND NOT GOOD QUALITY!! and with breakdowns and problems you actually spend way more than if you would just go with DTG from the start hope this helps!!!! DTF FUMES AND POWDER IS A MAJOR HEALTH HAZARD!!!! YOU CAN NOT CONTAIN THE POWDER BEING AIR BORNE WHEN YOU ARE POWDERING YOURE IMAGES ANYTHING DUST RELATED BEING IN THE AIR ESPEACIALLY THIS RESIN POWDER THAT FLOATS AROUND IN THE AIR YOU'RE ASKING FOR CANCER OR MAJOR HEALTH EFFECTS FAST!!! PRETREAT MACHINES TO SPRAY LIQUID PRETREAT ON SHIRT WITH DTG CAN BE CONTROLLED WAY BETTER IN THE ENVIROMENT WITH A PRETREAT MACHINE AND NOT BECOME SO AIRBORNE AND BECOME A RISK TO YOUR HEALTH!!
