I never really understood why people praise this manga/anime. Entire premise of super detective hunting and being so close to MC is just outright retarded. MC is just some random kid with power of god. Amount of mental gymnastics, handwaving, conclusions drawn out of thin air just to say "AHA! U R KIRA!" is just idiotic. "I see that guy died in Japan, so that means Kira is Yagami Lighto!". Pseudobabble that goes on the explain this is even worse. Proves that you can explain every bullshit as long as you just talk and talk and talk and talk, until your audience brains melt and they clap to your stupid plot with so much holes that swiss cheese could be shamed.
