A couple of weeks ago Wallace sent me a wee tune about his home town and asked me to put some visuals to it, sort of music video, so this is the result

A small collection of images for remembrance day. The theme is empty landscapes representing missing people, one for standing together as on and the hero's who fell as one and a bridge across connecting us with the past.

Thanks for that TC. Excellent as per normal.
Beautiful.
Where is it would be better
Lot of millennials posting on here! Wanting instant results and justification. The tippy tappy generation! back in the day we were happy with a Red devil lolly and a sherbert dipdab lolly!
Interesting, a bit of commentary about what is going on would be nice! But Thanks anyway.

Hi, was this today at around 13:30? We were there watching and couldn’t believe our luck. Talk about in the right place at the right time. What an experience. Thank you for posting this video.
yes, we were very lucky as well. I always carry my camera, you never know
Lots of bedroom windows to peer into. it should be very busy
Amazing view well captured Terry
That was fkin shit😂😂
The more videos and photos I see of Scotland, the more I feel it's one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
This may have been a good video if it hadn't been for the poor choice of music. I watched it with the audio turned off.
You have to get halfway through the video before there is any refilling. And even then, you never see an empty canal refilled to full.
It took two weeks to refill properly. This video was just to show work had finished and it would be ready for start of boating season in April
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?
Where is the refill?
Still waiting for the "refilling".........
Is it not full. I don't think it was drained this year
It was a very good bit of engineering for the day
cracking time lapse Terry... love the shooting stars and is that the ISS flying across as well ?
Aloha.. excellent
So whats it for ?
To allow boat to go from the Clyde estuary to the west coast of Scotland without going through the treacherous mull of Kintore.
I don't know the story of the canal, but the place and your videography are very beautiful. I've heard the weather in my ancestral country is, every once in a while, not this balmy. It's fun to see a canal section without water, just to satisfy my curiosity. I admire the stonework of the locks. Thanks for the bit of armchair travel.
My pleasure Jeff.
Just the most beautiful scenery and entancing music. I vould have watched it for hours. Many decades ago when I lived in Edinburgh we would make regular visits to this stunning part of the country. Watching this brings back so many wonderful memories. Thank you so very much.
Hi Ian, thanks for the comments, perhaps you would like this one as well. ua-cam.com/video/xGtgWksoeU8/v-deo.html
Great video Terry.
Thanks Geoff. Normally dont like doing stand alone drone shots, but didnt have time to fit in normall videos. I have a video on youtube of us taking our boat through which has a good mix.
Very well put together Terry, inspiring
Thanks. t
Tarbert - the home of Scottish Yacht Racing - always a welcome here.
Nice. She seems to go on nothing which is a good thing on that day.
brilliant!!!!
Very nice footage. I had an interesting experience anchoring at Carsaig Bay in September ‘18.
Thanks for that Terry. It looks like the Tinker is still inflated too which isn't bad after so long. I'll take the pump when I go back though :)
You've got to be Utterly Butterly to do that! I've done it with AeroSuperBatics at Rendcomb in Gloucestershire! It's great fun!
Brilliant Song
thanks DAAVID
Really nice Terry. And all the musicians. Wee Beth's voice at the end is just haunting .
Thanks for the nice comments, t.
Great song
Excellent job alround Terry love the song love the tune love the video here’s hoping it makes more than you could have wished for.
CD and DVD coming shortly Kenny
thanks so much for doing this Terry. I am delighted to be a part of this
Hi there, how long did the installation take?
Buch Krasniqi. The installation was only two or three days. The most time consuming was getting a workshop to make the rudder arm for the actuator to connect too. But I cheered a bit there and attached the arm to the top of the rudder post which is square and for emergency tiller. When I have long downtime I will reposition further down the rudder post. Hope this is helpful.
terry cawthorne Hey Terry, Thank you so much for you replay, just purchased the ghp and the class a drive. There is no info on how to install the driver, if you could send me a pic or a video of the drive unit on how you got it connected. I do have a similar setup with square emergency rudder. You would be a life saver, thank you so much again for you help.
Have a look at this video to get an idea of how I installed my drive unit. ua-cam.com/video/wVdfsux4ecM/v-deo.html
Excellent video and great music choice Terry. Hope things work out for you both. All the best. Kev 🙂
Thanks Kevin
Nice video :)
Love the Video Terry. I think you may have been berthed across from us last week in Tarbert at the Scottish Cruising Club Flotilla. We were pontoon B. A Jeanneau 32 'Jacqueline'
Thanks Kevin. yes we were across from you, Tarbert is our home port now since we both retired. I'll come and say Hi at our next meeting

Yeh. Thanks for that. We had several miss riggings that day. The topping lift wasn't slack enough and the outhaul was not tensioned properly but I sorted it eventually. we only kept that boat for a couple of years before we moved up to our Benetaeu 38. there is one video of that called Glaodh Balbh. Thanks for the comment
Slacken off your lazy jacks a bit as its destroying the wing/lift effect...great vid...well done
