Wolverine is Too Complicated and No One Cares
Wolverine has been popular for at least 50 years and for all 50 of those years, I argue no one has really liked him for anything but his claws.

Currently in the process of transferring to a 4-year university after spending one year at community college. I feel like I beat the system in some way, I moved to the state of my four-year before beginning my year at my home states' community college. I took several classes online while living across the country. The year in-state allowed me to qualify for in-state tuition at the four-year, while I also paid in-state prices at my community college. This move effectively saved me at least $70,000 dollars than if I went ahead and went straight to the four year, and online classes had the benefit of flexibility, allowing me to go on road trips and adventures while doing homework on my laptop. I was able to make a few 4-year friends in advance of joining the school by meeting people through Bumble. While your video isn't necessarily about paying for college, I do think the tradjectory I took benefitted the college experience. For one, I wasn't forced to focus on completing -all- of my Gen-Eds in CC. This allows me to also have an extra year at the four-year to apply for my specific degree path in Computer Science, and have more of the four year college experience than I otherwise would have. Financially, my out of state tuition would have been around $34,500 a year, but in-state is only $13,000 or so. Community college only cost me ~$2300 thanks to a small HS graduate scholarship I received. I'd like to hear your input and interpret what exactly you think this would mean for me as I enter my 2nd year of college, am I winning? Did I miscalculate something? Thanks 😎
I'm in my 30's and I can say that this basically happened to me (or more accurately put, I did this to myself). There's this inertia in our culture, that you must immediately transition from high school to college as a matter of course, and that you figure things out along the way. This is a dangerous mindset to have if you are undecided, or if you have any ambitions that aren't really helped by a university education (music, in my case). I wound up with a similarly useless, similarly irrelevant degree. I can also say that there's something to the "education" you get in self efficacy that comes from living on your own and being a totally autonomous person at such a young and formative age. The trade off is that I haven't had student debt for nearly 10 years now. If I could do it all again, it's not that I would choose to pay for a 4-year college straight away, it's instead that I wouldn't have gone to college at all.
im 19 and want to be a drummer. my parents want me to go to school to do something to make money. i dont know what to do !!
@@keenban 2 things. 1. 19 is so young. You have time to pick the wrong thing and still recover. 2. College or drums or whatever, have a concrete plan. Know how you're going to progress and eventually make money.
